Fair call. None of us were in that ring but Usyk. So who are we to question how hard that fight was on him?

I am seeing this as a professional courtesy to a man he's about to rematch.

Just like Fury said after the Ngannou bout that he had a great camp and was training hard for the fight. But it was obvious by the way he looked and performed that he treated the fight as a joke.

Usyk says Fury was his hardest fight and people are accusing him of lying. The most honest man of the sport. Can't make this up folks...

Oh man it's getting worse here. Usyk himself said it was his toughest fight, physically and strategically 100% he had to adapt big time after the 6th round. And some people say, no usyk is not telling the truth, he lies, breidies was tougher

    Hahaha

So you don't see how an upcoming rematch with Fury might have some sway over his answer?

Do you think Fury was honest when he said he had a serious camp and was training hard for Ngannou?

Okay, guys. Let's assume that you are right. So what happened with the Chisora fight then? He played possum there. Talk to any Usyk detractors and one of their first arguments will be how Usyk struggled and was almost beaten by Chisora. He even said so himself how he was disappointed with his performance and how Chisora was this very tough fight. This goes on for years, and even though many suspect he was playing possum, the argument against this notion is that Usyk is too honest to do something like that. Until this happens:

Would you call this lying, stating how Chisora was a tough fight, until years later admitting you just played possum? By your definition, Usyk was lying here. By my definition, he simply played the boxing game and said what he needed to say at that particular time. And this is what I think is happening here too, with his claiming that Fury was his toughest fight.

Its not a one man poll, of course.

I would say you believe that it was Usyk’s toughest fight for reasons besides Usyk stating so himself.

Therefore, you want to believe Usyk because it aligns with an opinion you had already formed.

As I alluded to, is your faith in Usyks words and judgment so strong that you would’ve believed him if he said that it was his EASIEST fight?

You’re playing it as if you would’ve accepted the above alternative answer also - based only on your strict, to the letter, belief in Usyk’s word.

If Usyk was merely talking Fury up for whatever reason, there is absolutely no loss of honour in that.

Loss of honour is what came out of Fury’s mouth immediately after the fight.

Usyk, championed by all for his honesty and integrity, says something favourable about Fury and all of sudden he is a liar.

You are right. Can't make this stuff up - LOL.

I'm not wrong about Usyk's honour and either are you when it suit you. These are your words from one of your posts :

Over the years, what I’ve noticed about Usyk is that he has a certain code of conduct. He is ready to laugh at anything; insults are all fun and games to him, but when it comes to matters like country, friends, family, faith, respect, and honour, that’s where the fun stops.

It absolutely is a one man poll. Usyk says Fury was his toughest fight and he is the only one who knows how he feels about it.
