How old is he?

 

Younger than Monk (George Edward Foreman III), so < 41 at least. Big Wheel is surprisingly hard to find a DOB for.

"Red" (George V) was 23 as of this article from a decade ago, so he's about 33 now:

That puts Big Wheel anywhere between 34 and 40.

Not sure if it was mentioned or not, but the Hunter-Chaney bout ended up being for the WBA Gold title and not an Interim one as initially reported. Thankfully so, since Heavyweight already has a Regular champ due to Charr's reinstatement. They don't need to be bringing in new interims at that weight til the Regular one's gone... Y'know, again

Would be hilarious if he broke his dad's record as the oldest hw champ. Not going to happen though.

 

I mean... Feed him a few cans and then toss him in with one of Morrisons sons. That would be an easy sell.

 

I think even Charr at this stage of his career probably would have beaten Chaney.

Muslim Gadzhimagomedov faces Zhaoxin Zhang for WBA Bridgerweight title, July 12th

 

Interesting fight because Zhang is coming off a career making win, and Gadzhimagomedov has only had about three fights. I understand he is a great amateur.

Also interesting because, if Gadzhimagomedov wins, the Bridgerweight titles will be ununify-able as the WBC does not sanction Russian fighters.

Heavyweight and cruiserweight finals (yeah I know it's supposed to be super heavyweight and heavyweight, but whatever).

I've heard of Madiyar Saydrakhimov before. Won bronze in Belgrade during the 2021 world championships. However I doubt he will get the opportunity to represent Uzbekistan in Paris at heavyweight. More like Lazizbek Mullojonov will be the one to fill the bracket. Surprisingly Lazibek fought Jalolov this year in Russia in a close fight.
