Hind sight is 20/20. At the time he wouldn't have been too far from wrong based on the rankings. Sadly he didn't really step up until facing Fury. I don't rate Ortiz much.

I just think you're splitting hairs if you think a win over a 41 year old Klitschko is that much better than a win over Luis Ortiz. They're both not that amazing. Thats all I'm saying.

 Because he is a POS stain on a sport I love? Without him, the division would have been better off.

Also, now go apply your logic to Ukrainians and Putin.

Pretty sure Usyk is still a devout religious man. His fathers language and traditions is a weird thing to lose respect for someone, Oleksandr is his own man.

I can see wear you are coming from but for me the Klitschko win was very impressive you have to take into account this was AJs 19th pro fight and Klitschko was very determined and it was the best we have seen from him in years.

Wilder was fighting Daniel Cota in his 19th now if Wilder beat Ortiz in his 19th fight that would be impressive too but he didn't it took him 41 fights to get in the ring with an opponent who had a chance to beat him if that don't tell you all you need to know I don't know what anyone can say to you to convince you otherwise. Honestly it's kind of like the youtube channels that Wilder used to have calling him an all time great and saying Wilder only lost because Fury cheats.

Yeah. Age doesn't exist and fighters never got shop worn.

Roy Jones Jr and Ali were the same fighters at the end of their careers as they were mid career.

Age and wear and tear on the body and brain is a myth.

I don't agree, it is possible. Pre trilogy Wilder hadn't fought anybody of note and many people thought he wasn't very good, he then got his ass handed to him by Fury. Then post trilogy he's fought a couple of good opponents and those that thought he wasn't very good pre trilogy were proved right.

Took 41 bouts to step it up and then went from 40-0 to 43-4-1 LMAO. Wilder has been proven to be a hype train unfortunately.

The difference with the Top heavyweights is he can't just load up and land on there chin, he went back to a journeyman post Fury and knocked him out inside 1, nothing more then a tomato can basher. Everyone inside the current Top 10 would beat him and don't forget thats Fury's signature win.

Learn about the ageing process and the prime years for physical performance.
If you can't tell the difference between a 38 year old and a 25-34 year old in sport, you shouldn't mock anyone.
I despise Wilder but pretending an old version is the same as the one Fury was talking about is absurd.

But Ortiz had not been a good fighter since his loss to Jack Sharkey.

That's not fair Ortiz was an old man at the time and Jack Sharkey was young and in his prime
