    Very good fighter .the policies of the time hurt his career . Very few beat him near his weight .

    I don’t know that much about him but he had an awesome record and beat one of my favorites in Tony Lopez

    Fought him twice in Lopez’s hometown of Sacramento.

    I thought Mitchell deserved the first t verdict but it was a draw.

    The second time, Tony came in a pound over so his title wasn’t on the line but Mitchell beat him rather convincingly regardless.

    Brian Mitchell was boxing’s true road warrior (and I was a Lopez fan, too).

    Yeah Mitchel had an awesome career from what I can see and Lopez was exciting to watch. Used to catch a lot of his fights on regular TV networks in the 80s and early 90s
