What´s even sadder about Taylor is that he seemed to be getting his **** together and life back on track. But it all unraveled when he beat Sam Soliman.
Years later he wound up in prison and last year a bank was trying to foreclose on his home. He is going to be dead broke by the time he is 50.

Damn, so sad. I really liked his career, he was in some legendary fights and also had some great wins. That era of HBO boxing was a golden time for my sports memories.

 

On the other hand, Kelly Pavlik seems to have figured things out. He hit a rough batch some years back and it looked like he might end up in jail or worse. He clearly had substance issues and was going down a bad path.
