Brezeale is criminally underrated tbh. He might have been top 10 at the time Wilder fought him. AJ KOing someone does not preclude someone from the top 10.

Wilder has beaten one.....JUST ONE.....world champion his entire career and you are saying his HOF status shouldn't be in question?........ You must wake up and drink a tall glass of his sweat with your breakfast......lol.

Why do you love that man so much?

I don't love anything except the truth.

First off Wilder beat three world HW champs. Not one. Not Two. Three. Liakovich and Stiverene. And Ortiz interim. I don't consider those belts to be real tbh but facts are facts.

Lets pretend Wilders WBC title reign never happened and these are all just fights.

He beat or drew 9 title contenders who fought for a HW title at some other point and has 10 wins over such fighters. Beck, Harrison, Liakovich, Stiverene, Molina, Arreola, Ortiz, Breazeale and Fury. If you're looking at Wilder as a champ with 10 title defenses his resume is awful. If you look at him as an elite HW who maybe was champ briefly his resume looks a lot better.

Oh, I totally forgot that Liakovich was a world champ for 6 months...... And I can care less what you don't "consider to be real"..... Facts is facts right?......Well, Interim champ is not a world champ. It's simply a title for a mandatory for a world champ.

Funny how you try to throw random garbage in the argument for Wilder to make your stance valid.

If we are pretending the WBC title reign never happened then there is NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT. Nobody gets in the Hall of Fame simply for beating or drawing with other contenders. WTF are we talking about?........lol.

I don't need to pretend nothing.....Fact is, Wilder's accomplishments are not HOF worthy no matter how much you love him. I'm not here to call him a chump or bum or any nonsense, the man has accomplished more in the sport than anyone in this discussion.....But HOF...please....Biggest win on his resume.......a heavyweight who's never had a world title shot except vs him....respect to Ortiz, but that's just the truth. You know TRUTH, what you claim to love so much, yet, you throwing B.S. in this conversation as if you are allergic to reality.

Sorry but I’m not going off topic. I think you’re not understanding ranking systems which is why you’re thinking I’m off topic.

The wbc champ has to defend by the wbc rankings. the wba is the same, ibf etc, (which is why usyk may get stripped if he doesn’t defend against the ibf ranked guy).
Every defence therefore is against a top 15 ranked fighter according to the ranking system they have assigned to.
so in wilders case, 10 defences against top15 guys
AJ is 6/7 defences against top15 guys
Fury is 3 defences against top 15 guys.

according to Ring magazine, wilder has at least 5 opponents who were ranked in the top. (Some he fought more than once)

AJ has more, fury I haven’t looked.

So fact 1 is wilder defended 10x against top wbc ranked guys.
Fact 2 is wilder fought 5x ring ranked guys.

Both facts are different but true. No swerving, just understanding perspectives from orgs in the boxing business

I don’t, but the wbc does and that’s what matters. I thought Charles martin was no good but he was ibf champ and that’s what matters. Etc etc.

Neither mine nor Your opinion matter, the orgs opinion does. Get to grips with this and it will help you life.

I’ll tell you a Fact…he will get into the HOF, because nobody cares about your opinion.

His record is good, his title reign was better than fury’s anyway. both turned pro the same year, won world titles the same year. But only 1 was active.

I think you care about this more than I do tbh with you.

Well what I was considering not to be real was a concession to your point and your response to that "is I can care less what you consider to be real". Well you said Wilder only fought 1 champ. I listed 3 and I agreed that I don't consider them to be real champs but facts are facts. So you don't care, great but you're the one who listed 1 champs so I was assuming you had an issue with the other 2.

Interim belts are real belts IMO or at least aren't any more fake than a normal alphabet belt. Like any belt the title and what it means should be judged individually. Ortiz beat Jennings when his only loss was to Wlad Klitschko who he went the distance with and won rounds against. I actually hold that interim belt in higher esteem than Liakovichs and especially Stivernes non interim titles. Luis Ortiz certainly went longer after winning that title without losing even if he never defended it.

Fighters can make the HOF with no title or a short title reign especially at HW. Wilder is the best American HW of the 21st century. He has the KO rate record for a HW champ or contener, he knocked Fury down 4 times and he has the 10 title defenses manufactured or not. Hes fradulent compared to the other fighters with 10 title defenses but those fighters are like Louis, Ali and Holmes. And Wilder doesn't need to in those fighters area code to make the HOF. Hes a HOFer and hes nowhere near the borderline. Thats just the reality. He will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Its going to happen. You're going to need to make peace with that.

Also the HOF has only been around 34 years. Meaning the current cut off of the Hall of Fame is going to be steeper than it ends up being because the Hall has had 30 years to induct everyone from all eras and they haven't gotten to the point where they are inducting borderline candidates yet. They can only do that once they've gotten through all the non borderline people. Everyone in the boxing HOF in 2024 is not a borderline candidate otherwise they would not be in the boxing hall of fame.

There used to be a second hall of fame that was older and which had inducted more questionable candidates because they had more time to do so. Hence why I brought up Clarence Henry because hes the example of a great beltless fighter who never fought for the title who made that Hall of Fame. That HOF shut down a few years ago.

I heard the same talk from several "fight weeks". It´s not just some BS to hype a fight. At some point you have to take a man at his word. And what he said, was despicable. If Wilder ended up like Adonis Stevenson, I could care less.

Wilders resume is weak for HOF standards but there have been many worse belt holders

People saying Wilder is the worst WBC champion then what does that make the guy who Wilder beat clearly to win the belt ?

They are throwing around titles without thinking it through. The same thing they are accusing the WBC of doing.

The true WOAT WBC champ is Maskaev.

Bruno would have flattened Wilder. If he was able to take as many rounds as he did off of Lewis then he lands at will on Deontay. From there it's a matter of time before he lands something big and puts him away.
