Fury was dominating Usyk for large parts of that bout. He just needs to make a few adjustments and he will cruise to victory in the rematch
So was Usyk dominating for large parts of it Fury's biggest weakness against Usyk is his power zaps heavily from round 6 onwards so he becomes much less of a threat this means the only time Usyk has to be really carefull are the first 6 rounds. Fury was messing around too much in the first 2 rounds only starting his work in round 3 onwards/ Fury has to use a lot of energy to remain mobile to box with Usyk therefore his typically large gas tank does thin out by rounds 6-8 -> even with back to back camps this stamina & energy conversation will always be a MASSIVE aspect of this bout. No doubt Usyk was better prepared for it. But even he was having to take some rounds off. It's a battle of attrition with the two biggest attrition fighters of this era. I don't expect Fury's defence to lapse so badly again to let Usyk land that overhand left in the rematch. Fury had Usyk pretty badly hurt in that round 6 but couldn't pull the trigger and pile it on because he was tired... The most interesting thing was how Fury was finding his uppercut so easily. That punch has never been his strong point...and his overhand right was not there at all. His right hand has changed massively which is definitely a function of his elbow issues. His jab...decent but again not consistent, elbow issues. Meanwhile Usyk couldn't really get his jab going as you'd expect against a proper big man who isn't a plodding bum like AJ.
No, it's simple Fury can't focus and train hard for the next 6 months, he just got no discipline He have never prepared for a fight in his whole life such focused, he would need to beat Usyk - that's the point
I doubt it he lost the first one 8-4 / 7-5 at the very best and 9-3 at the worst. Outside rounds 4-7 it was Usyk domination
Fury already gave Usyk his toughest fight but he needs to do better again. It's not an unwinnable fight for Fury but it will take close to a career best performance to get the job done.
