Perfectly put. The Fury fan narratives before and after the fight are hilarious. “Easiest fight for Fury, he will smash the middleweight” vs “he hurt him, he won the middle rounds”. How pathetic, hyping up winning 2-3 rounds when it was supposed to be a beatdown and a mismatch. I’d be absolutely ashamed as a Fury fan and nothing but apologetic for my earlier opinions. But hey, they are Fury fans so we can’t expect much.

Usyk respected Fury's performance. Enough to declare it his toughest fight but it sure is causing some tears and anguish around here.

Oh, unlike you, I’m not bothered, mate. I know that Fury wasn’t his toughest fight at all. Fury won no more than three rounds and was knocked out in round 9 with a nose already broken in round 8. I can see how desperate you are, trying to get the “Usyk’s toughest fight” title after the humiliation Usyk handed to Fury. I don’t give a damn about what delusions you are chasing to cope. I was just curious. Make no mistake, the fat coward was never going to be Usyk’s toughest fight and I’ve been telling that here for the longest. To say that I was right and now you guys are clutching at straws is an understatement.

Of course you are bothered. That's why you are trying to play down what Usyk said and you will no doubt continue to...

My only bother is that the referee robbed Usyk of a KO. But it will come in December if Fury finds his b***s to face him. We both know it’s unlikely to happen as he is already drinking himself to death instead but hey, one can dream.

The thread is about Usyk's toughest fight and he has stated it was Fury. So even if he obliterates Fury in the rematch, his toughest fight will remain Fury I.

Then again, Usyk-Fury II could be your worst nightmare and Usyk may then declare Fury II was his toughest fight.

We shall see. But for now, like it or lump it, Fury I is Usyk's toughest fight.

No, it wasn’t, and it’s hilarious how you boys lowered your standards from “he will destroy the middleweight” to “Fury was his toughest fight because he said it,” lol.

I saw you bragging about how your silly little thread keeps getting responses, thinking it’s because you made some amazing topic to discover.

The reality is that sensible boxing fans who actually saw the fight let you know that you are mistaken, and a few of the usual Fury fan suspects, yourself included, keep denying it. But hey, whatever helps you deal with the loss. Usyk beat Fury into irrelevance, and it traumatised you lot. I’m not here to tell you how to deal with the shock.

Reading back, it was AdamT who came to see the light first and had a sensible take, but knowing him and the rest of the Fury sect, it’s hardly surprising he is still the one with an actually functioning brain. I’m mildly concerned for your mental health if the rematch takes place, as Usyk will batter Fury even worse. Otherwise, I’m just enjoying the show. I was right, Fury was exposed, and you lot are struggling hard as you argue about how many rounds Fury won, lol. Imagine having 40 lbs on your side, and your fans can only argue if you won two or three rounds or whatever. I’m entertained, mate—happy days.

I always knew it would be good when Usyk beats Fury, but even I didn’t expect scenes like this. Loving every minute, keep it coming.

I just hope that in time you can learn to live with the fact that Fury was Usyk's toughest fight. I know it's a bitter pill for some of you guys to swallow but give it time.

Again, respect for your opinion. Certain lifestyles external to the ring can potentially take their toll over time.

However, assiduous training and numerous engagements over a long career (including AM) can also take their own toll, along with the natural ravages of age which cannot be defied despite the best efforts to remain conditioned.

As Losh pointed out, Fury will always have size, height and reach advantages that will not diminish or deteriorate over time. They are static qualities/advantages.

As the smaller man, Usyk not only has to be the better skilled man but he also has to always work harder to negate and eclipse the aforementioned advantages of the bigger opponent.

As such, even if Olek suffered the same sheer physical deteriorations as Fury, stylistically, it would impact more heavily on Uysk’s overall effectiveness due to his greater reliance on speed, reflex, mobility and engine.

In Usyk, I can definitely see a loss of some speed/reflex and deterioration in his engine relative to the quality of those attributes his prime.

In that same interview with 'The 3 Knockdown Rule', Usyk was asked to compare Fury with Joshua. He sounded quite dismissive of Joshua. Describing him as 'still water' and Fury as 'sparkling water.'

    All good brother.

They’ve just tried on puerile deflections of the lowest order - deflections which actually impugn their own levels of reading and comprehension.

Twitter is a great analogy. Next they’ll be posting a one or two liner to tell us that their asses are itchy or tell us they’re picking their noses - that information would be as useful as what they’ve submitted thus far.

You gotta love the painfully advertised - “I didn’t read that or I’m not reading all that” - if they literally didn’t read it, they wouldn’t and shouldn’t reply.

Yep, sure guys, we believe you.

And there’s also the repeated projection of their own angst - which this COPE thread was obviously intended to relieve.

No reason for Usyk fans to be anything BUT over the moon. Some Fury fans are obviously STILL padding away the tears.

The circus giant was destroyed by the midget - the latter being the true star of the show.

This post should be immune to any comment or reply from them - because, “Dang it, it’s just too darn long to read - oh, and it also contains facts I can’t refute. ”.

Surely they won’t contradict and embarrass themselves yet again to comment on what they “didn’t read”.

As desperately as they’re hanging onto Usyk’s words - they’ve still managed to misquote him in classic Freudian fashion.

I called it out before but they can’t help themselves and have reverted back - twisting Usyk’s words from: “toughest fight” to “toughest opponent” .

Yes, we know who’s trying to impose their own, preferred narrative. Good Lawd!

Lol, it’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

    :lol::lol::lol:
