    One thing you cannot take from Uncle Leonard Ellerbe, Uncle Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather is that these 3 men changed the game for the better and forever. Anybody who ensures boxers keep more of the more generated is my G for life.

    They changed he game alright They've practically ruined boxing as a legitimate combat sport. casuals treat it like the WWE just sports entertainment. The winners of the "contests" are not always the better man on the day but whoever is the prodigal son. who has the $$$$$$$$$$$$ & influence is how it goes today. I never ever thought I'd advise a young amateur boxer NOT to turn pro but to stick with baseball, but I have done just that recently because unless you have these leeches backing you, you will not have a fair chance of success

    Sure, you can believe all that if you want... but Mayweather Promotions is in the toilet.
    They used to have a decent roster with several ranked contenders, whom they actually built up. Heck, Badou Jack and Ishe Smith won world titles.
    In 2019 they put on 10 cards. In 2024 they don´t even have a website. Whatever decisions Ellerbe did, as a CEO he was responsible for the promotion and he ran it into obscurity.

    I think the rot has set in for Floyd & TMT . Ellerbe is bailing out before the axe falls. He sees the fall of the "Money" Empire. I'll bet Floyd is a worried little man too
