Zheng is a sucker for right hand leads to the jaw and was dropped by one. Goode is even shorter than Foreman and was landing right hands throughout the entire fight. Zheng also showed that when hurt, he will resort to spamming clinches and doesn't have proper defensive maneuvers. If Foreman gets him in trouble, the fight is probably over. Especially if Foreman tenderizes him with body shots, which he won't be able to miss given Zheng's large belly.

George Foreman couldn't knock Frazier out cold after connecting perfectly with his face and knocking him down several times. Frazier isn't getting up 5x from a counter-hook from Zhang.

90% of George's reputation as the most powerful puncher ever comes from that "denting" heavy bag video, the one where his trainer was bracing it with his entire body to make it easier for Foreman to put his force into it and where we have no idea how long he'd been using the bag for.

The funny thing is it looked like Foreman was chillin on that bag maybe hitting with 80% power, the real shots were to Ali's body

His reputation is an 89% KO rate over 76 fights, combined Zhang and Usyk only have 52 fights, dismal compared to Foreman

You're right. He won't have to.

Completely untrue. Foreman's reputation is based on the power he displayed against Frazier, being the only man along with Frazier, to stop George Chuvalo, as well as testimonies regarding his power coming from guys like Frazier, Norton, Ali, Holyfield, Young, etc.

Holyfield stated a 40+ year old Foreman hit harder than guys like Tyson, Bowe, Lewis, etc which speaks volumes.

Holyfield said Benny Hinn healed him and Foreman is not coincidentally an Evangelical Christian.

    1) That's a response on a higher level than is usual on this forum. Actual footage.
    2) I do note that Goode has over 20lb over 70s Foreman. Basically about the same as comparing Foreman to early Louis or Schmeling.
    3) I disagree that Zhang is a 'sucker' for a right hand lead. Yeah he got dropped by one but he also slipped quite a few of them.
    4) Zhang was actually fighting at a pretty high pace which is a surprise given the version we know today. Foreman might be the guy with stamina problems compared to this version.

I'm wondering how much of a factor George's jab would be.

Please rewatch the fights against Norton, Ledoux, Lyle, Moorer...

Holyfield himself said the old slow George was the greatest puncher he faced, Tyson recently agreed...

There is also a lot of footage on Ali vs Cooper, Douglas vs Tyson, Foreman vs Moorer, etc. ... and you can find the most bizarre theories on those KDs/KOs floating around in this forum.

    Cognitive dissonance sends its regards...

    1) Thank you.

    2) 20 lbs of fat. Goode isn't winning any beauty contests. Hell even I don't look this sloppy and I haven't worked out in weeks and Goode's a professional athlete. Foreman incidentally cut weight to make 225, literally dehydrating himself, so in actuality they're not that far apart in size. Foreman is also at least 2-3 inches taller with longer arms. Point being, if Goode can land with ease, the far more skilled Foreman can too, and his punches will absolutely affect Zheng.

    3) Getting hit by the same punch about 15x seems to qualify him for being a sucker for said punch.

    4) Well, Foreman would certainly destroy any novice with only 6 fights. The tradeoff for this version of Zheng's extra energy and high work rate is that he'll have significantly less experience and less polished technique.

George hitting and denting the heavy bag with hooks is often commented on - and justifiably so.

But there is also footage of George slamming a very well educated jab into the heavy bag - and the power behind his seemingly effortless jab was extraordinary. Scary power.

Beside the point, but after throwing hands without fear or favour in the ring, I could see Big George and Big Bang getting on like a house on fire otherwise.

Man, George could’ve even got Zhang in on the act of selling grills or the like. An East meets West flogging of culinary appliances.

    Bang the Fat out!
