You'd steal those pants from Paris as she was making her way to the washing machine and wear them on your head 24/7

Didn't Fury once say that if he ever lost he would retire? I distinct remember something like that in an interview. Not that doesn't have the right to do whatever he wants. I've definitely enjoyed parts of his career. But what's the point in carrying on if he's still not taking his career seriously, collapsing drunk in the streets, while Usyk is continuing to live and train like a professional?

And Ali lost his first fight to Frazier, and then became "the greatest".
Now we will see how much Fury is worth as a boxer and a man.
His scenes of drinking and rolling on the concrete tell me that the story is not going in the direction of revenge.

Born fighters know letting go is just as important as staying tuned in. AJ went and found new trainers and did an emotional retreat anything possible to try and position himself better for his usyk rematch and he came and did the same thing. Fury can change things and isnt going to put himself in an over focused state of delerium.

I'd have more faith in Fury's revenge to see him train harder and harder every day until December.
Getting drunk and rolling around on concrete doesn't sound like a "path to revenge" to me.
What do you think Usyk is doing; to get drunk and roll on the concrete?

All I saw was a near blackout drunk trying to get off the tarmac (canvas). Fury is primed and ready.

Tyson gave it his best shot first time round. His own words were the ‘perfect’ training camp, and he came in ‘the shape of his life’. He knows that at 36 and with another 8 months wear and tear on those brittle elbows and ankles he’s just accelerating to further physical decline and retirement.

Yeah. I mean everyone with an positive IQ would understand this is a PR move, and he was prolly told to do this video from his handlers to lower/stop the damage from his previous showing, aka the pub crawling scenes.

Whether the previous drinking was one night off or whatever doesn't matter, as this was a PR clip.

Right , the clip of him crawling around blind drunk was far more believable than this.

Anyone who has done any level of training knows it's literally impossible for Fury to go from his Francis Nnganou shape in October 2023 to fully fledged fighting shape in May 2024. That's the entire story OF Fury's career and he never has or wanted to live an athletes lifestyle. He needed every ounce of available cardio power against Usyk and to execute to the highest level. He missed the mark on both points and lost what could have easily been a DEAD even bout.

Problem is how do you properly stress the cardio system on a 260 pound career boxer who has to keep his roadwork down because it will put strain and wear very possibly injury. Fury likes to train his cardio by doing sparring rounds. That's half of his endurance he's utterly calm in there. He can autopilot the 12 rounds...but when he had Usyk hurt in round 6 he didn't have the energy to jump on him...

I don't expect he'll change anything...but he should stay in shape for the next 6 months and he should change his gameplan a little and his corner...and that will be plenty enough.

Usyk could actually improve his cardio but has chosen to hold extra mass which has actually improved his durability and punching power.
