Gvodzyk is usually a pitter patter..but what he did against Benavidez was excessive.

Fixed fight. Gvodzyk can throw hard shots against a better bigger more skilled/powerful counterpuncher like Beterbiev but not Benavidez..ok

 

Beterbiev fight was nearly 5 years ago. And there was a 3 year retirement for Gvozdyk too.

 

That’s true, but that shouldn’t stop someone from throwing at least a few hard punches from time to time

Gvozdyk is completely done. Mentally broken by the Beterbiev beatdown. Was never the same after. Trying to think of the last example of where a top level guy was completely ruined by 1 fight.

 

Trinidad ruined Vargas and Reid, Gvozdyk ruined Stevenson.

You should watch a recording of the fight. Martin is a very good fighter like I said beforehand but Tank is special as demonstrated once again in this fight.
