    Brutal bloodbath!
I have a lot of respect for the Rock, but Holyfield is my generation and he was every bit the blood and guts warrior that Rocky was. Holy was last fighter of the modern era to fight 15 rounds, so we know he can do it.
In a 15 round championship fight with the same day weigh in at 190lbs, and an old school Steve Smoger type of referee, I’m picking Holyfield to win an incredibly competitive fight, but without controversy. Holy was very skilled, taller and longer, and didn’t cut as easy as Rocky.
When the fight is over, the public will petition to have boxing banned as a sport.

I think Holyfield is a steroid using drug cheating heavyweight. But he was natural at cruiser. Bigger, stronger, faster, better skill. Chin. The lot. Too much of everything for Rocky.

Besides Marciano v Frazier this is the second fight I’d love to see. Holyfield gets caught up in a brawl but his stamina can’t keep the pace. Marciano by late KO

This is a preview of Holyfield vs. Marciano. Holyfield deals with the pressure and dominates. The opponent is bigger and faster than RM.

Holy KO's him in about 4. A young fighter of this level of skill is several bridges too far for The Rock. Holy is faster, longer, bigger, hits harder, more durable, more heart... Lopsided mismatch.

Depends on how SOON they met. If it was the 1986 version of Evander with 11 pro bouts who fought life and death with an aged Qawi then I’d favor Marciano. If it was two years later when Evander had unified the cruiserweight title and was a fully matured professional then I’d go with Holyfield.

Interestingly, I’d back Holyfield at Cruiser but switch to Marciano at Heavyweight. The big issue for the Heavyweight Holyfield was endurance - I think Marciano would wear him down, especially if over fifteen rounds, at Heavy.

At Cruiser Holyfield doesn’t have that issue & wins a difficult decision.

Without PEDS Rocky. Evander wasn't great, Evan Fields was.

I should clarify for my post I had the pre-1993 Heavyweight Holyfeld in mind. The conman thereafter bears no thinking about either way.
