Tank weighed in at 133.4 against Frank, proving that he’s a tiny lightweight. Barrios was a massive 140 pounder and a decent sized 147 pounder. While Barrios isn’t a p4p guy he’s extremely solid and recently had a top win against a guy who beat Pac-Man in Ugas. Tank going up to 140 and smashing Barrios at his size is crazy. Dude can really punch.

Tanks resume is aging much better with Cruz and Barrios, thats a very good sign for his legitamacy, soon Frank will probably make some noise as well and add to Tanks record

How is the Cruz win aging well? Because he beat Rolly and is now getting protected matchmaking?

Barrios is a bonafide scrub no disrespect whatsoever.

Did they ever say what the limit for Barrios was? After the Garcia rehydration clause I'm curious to know.

It was for a title but Cruz does a lot to prove. He has an iron chin so I think he does well at 140. Cruz is in the convo with the top guys there

And Cruz was a late replacement for the Gervonta fight they didn't know he was good otherwise they wouldn't take it. After the fight where Cruz gave him all he could handle and the same Gervonta said when asked if he would give Cruz a rematch he answered with an emphatic " Hell No!!!!!"

yes, hes a 135lb fighter. came in under and looked strong, quick, and carried his endurance. i think barrios has gotten better since then. tank was his first real fight at top level. taught him a lot. its still a good win against a solid guy naturally bigger than him.

Not sure but I assume it was a 10lb clause

I think Cruz is good but there’s absolutely nothing to prove (or even suggest) it apart from the Tank fight

What's crazy about a LW moving to 140 & beating an average junior welterweight? Happens all the time.. Garcia Lipinets, Broner Molina, Rios Alvarado, Diaz Malignaggi, Barthelemy Relikh.. an extra 5 pounds isn't that bigger difference to weigh in at (LW to LWW) when you'll be hydrating 15lbs overnight anyway as many 'LWs' do.. & in some cases over 20lbs.. he isn't tiny, he's short but thick. You can tell he walks around at a good 25lbs more than LW in between fights. If not more.

It’s funny that Tank picks these guys with zero intention of boosting his resume. They’re just meant to be easy fights but just so happen to get better with time. Also, the fight isn’t under appreciated, it’s literally one of Tank’s most popular performances.

Both Garcias, Cruz, Martin and Barrios are solid wins.
    They were not ATG wins.
Very solid wins nonetheless.. ones that get you into current p4p consideration.
