Don't stand in front of Teo. He would've schooled Matias, I wish the fight happened

Teo gets tired, stands still and gets mauled. Did you see what Lomachenko was doing to him landing combinations? Times that a few times against a guy that is much more active and aggressive than Lomachenko.
Paro managed to beat Matias because he is complete. Fantastic stamina, can move all night, has defense, chin, can really box.

I'm not sure Paro would beat Haney.

Paro will likely make a home town defense in Queensland next.

i never rated matias that high. love his style and enjoy watching him, but hes flawed defensively. i think teo would hurt him.

Why can't it still happen? Matias lost last night. Ok. He might be made for Teo but so was Kambosos. Within his gameplan, Paro was terrified from time to time, but he didn't fold and had the stamina to carry his gameplan through 12 and it paid off. Teo can be shook. What happens if Teo lights up Matias in round 5 and Matias shrugs it off like Ward vs Gatti the first time, takes a deep breath and wades back in?

Bet it would sell some PPVs. Teo hasn't looked spectacular since when?

Cmon, we know what happens. Juat imagine the fight playing out, Lopez would love a Matias, he's not going to run, he don't move his head and that guard would get teed off on. Matias imo still beats Haney tho

sure but it wouldn't be an impressive win anymore everyone recently started keeping their eye on Matias so I wanted that Lopez fight. I always favored him to win with maybe medium difficulty.

Perhaps Teo loses his next fight but he for sure beats Matias and Issac Cruz. From an entertainment standpoint I'd still like to see it

You could well be right. If the right Teo shows up and Matias begins to cower early? Sure. But if Matias aguanta? I never saw Matias really deterred last night. Out of sorts? Yes. Confused? Yes. But Paro was shitting his pants on the couple of occaisions that Matias was able to get off to the body. Sometimes Teo doesn't like it when things go sideways. What if his girl is talking **** on instafag right before the fight?

Agreed, styles makes fights and Matias style suits Teo's style. Teo does best when he has an opponent who comes to him allowing him to counter punch. It wouldn't be close, Catterall beats Matias too because of styles.

I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor against Matias. It's a fun clash of styles as both are aggressive fighters and Taylor is at his best when he has an opponent who stands right in front of him. Taylor is faded but he's technically far superior to Matias and bigger, could be a good return fight for Taylor if he wants to keep fighting.

I agree, I still think Teo is the best at 140 right now and would pick him over Subriel. Subriel is very limited and is easy to counter when he brings his hands back to his hips and isn't very quick with his head on the line. I think Teo has the smarts to outbox him and the power to keep him honest. The one worry I might have is Teo's foot-speed might let him down. I think he counters him all night though.

If it was one of Teo's blowing cold days then maybe not....

Paro is a very good boxer which was evident before last weekend, he had to be on his top game to beat Matias.

I'd imagine Paro will be defending a few times now against lesser names instead of jumping in to unify against Haney/Teo. The Catterall fight would be good, Sandor Martin maybe? Wouldn't mind seeing Lemos back over again either, gave a great account last time out.

I think Prograis would be a better dance partner. Matias was calling him out throughout the promotion with Paro and I'd think their styles would match up very well. Eddie would for sure love that fight
