You're reaching. The lone thing that stands out is Donaire's win over Oubaali and I think Oubaali lost to a nobody after that and retired.

I suggest reviewing Ugas' career if you don't understand that the man was cut from aa higher quality cloth than Maloney and Rodriguez.

I like you NoNeck.. and I think Tank is a superb fighter.. you could definitely argue that he is a top 10 p4p.
But as of now not the same level and ranking as Inoue.
The difference is Tank struggles or down in the cards against most of his opponents before knocked them out.
While Inoue toying with his opponents before knocked them out or knocked them out early.

He's quite a bit worse than Tank in the counterpunching and defense departments.

Inoue came far closer to losing a fight (Donaire) than Davis ever did. Davis is in total control of these fights where he lets the cards be close.

    Donaire is a certified ATG!
dropped down in weight and having a little resurgence on his storied career, beating a few good young fighters prior to their first fight.
And I think Inoue should have been credited with a body shot KO in their first fight.
Nonetheless, Inoue put him back into retirement.

I think that's overstating it. Donaire had basically been looking mediocre for a few years. He then beat Burnett when Burnett suffered some weird injury off a Donaire punch. First meaningful win since Darchinyan years earlier. He outperformed in the first Inoue fight and was washed up by the time the second one happened.

ATG, but past it by the time Inoue fought him.

Yep, another stupid troll thread. When asked a simple question about thread you revert to a 12 year old.

I think Tank is a better counterpuncher, but I don't think he's better defensively than Inoue.

Right. Off a Donaire punch. He'd then break part of Inoue's face with his punch. That's how dangerous even a jaded version of Donaire was at 118. He's a known bonebreaker - see Montiel. He even shook Walters which was a mismatch on paper.

    You're actually praising Inoue here.

He was in his prime for Montiel and got stopped by Walters.

I was there when Rigondeaux beat him and Rigondeaux didn't get injured because he had good defense, even against peak Donaire.

BTW have you ever stated a boxing opinion that's against the grain in your life or are you just here to fit in?

You're not being serious, and this is coming from someone who likes Tank more than Inoue and is one of Tank's only "consistent" supporters on this forum. Their resumes aren't even remotely similar. Inoue has 2 wins over one of the greatest little guys of all time. Even post prime that win is leagues beyond anything on Tank's resume. Inoue became 4 belt undisputed in 2 weightclasses within a calendar year, (think it was actually 13 months)

    Let's be completely honest here...............

Seen as Rigondeaux was caught square and floored - perhaps tempted to go on some unrelated tangent about defensive abilities - the one worthwhile part of your post doesn't carry much weight.

I defend Tank's resume more than most on this site. But Inoue's cleaned out one division while becoming undisputed, and is the process of cleaning out the top 5 of a second after becoming undisputed once again. He had a nice run as a 130lb world titlist and he's done good work as a lightweight contender, but he just doesn't have the same accomplishments that Inoue does.
