As for these troll accusations, we're nine pages deep and I don't recall a single poster making any valid counterpoints to the comparisons I made in the OP.

What I see is a bunch of trinket counting, glorification of moving up through garbage weightclasses, and baseless accusations of ducks while having a convenient set of excuses for Inoue missing out on the four best fighters in the only stacked division he ever participated in.

Could it be that posters here prefer a guy who resembles an anime protagonist over a guy with a goofy Baltimore accent and history of questionable to reprehensible behavior outside the ring?

Foreman became lineal at heavyweight and Holmes beat Mercer who vacated the WBO belt right before fighting Holmes. Holmes also almost beat McCall for a belt. And heavyweight titles are harder to win than 118 titles.

Donaire went from losing to Magdaleno and Frampton to fighting Burnett. Burnett was beating Donaire, but had a history of back problems and pulled a muscle in his back. Donaire's punch did cause or have something to do with that, but 99% of boxers wouldn't be vulnerable to that injury. And Oubali just wasn't a good fighter. There's no evidence there that Donaire was better than anyone Tank fought.

I don't talk about belt grabbing because it's meaningless to me. Inoue got dropped hard by a punch drunk Luis Nery in his last fight so he's probably not quite at Tank's level. I don't know if he won a belt on that night and don't really care.

You're basically going to be a top 30 ATG if you belt grab like that around 135 because the depth totally dwarfs the smaller divisions.

 

I'm simply playing your game, but you already knew that. You're now falling back on lies. Tank has beaten three or four Mexcians who currently are or already were more highly regarded than Nery (Barrios is borderline), let alone the guys on his resume who aren't Mexican. Once again, glitter on a turd.

 

It's not a numbers game, but if it is, Tank is the one getting digits.
