I think you can set the bar much lower than Tua...

Yeah. Who survives? Maybe Ortiz? I can't think of anyone else. Shot Arreola? Stiverne? Wilder hardly beat anyone good unless you count Stiverne and Ortiz as great wins. Tua KOed a lot of very good fighters. Rahman, a post prime (but not as cooked as most of Wilder's wins) Moorer, Oquendo, Maskaev, Ruiz in the first.

Ibeabuchi made his whole mystique off of Tua and Byrd, yet those two guys get hated on chronically while Ibeabuchi is some mythic destroyer. Make it make sense. Wilder isn't in the class of Tua.

I'm not sure but Tua's calves are the same diameter as Wilder's waist.

The only one that I think would have a chance of out boxing and beating Tua would be Ortiz but still I favor Tua to knock him out.

Tua would KO Deontay and his handpicked best opponent on the same night.

Tua beat four former of future titlists, so he is at least a 4-trick pony.

Exactly. Tua is a level above Wilder on all counts

The are at least 30-35 outright bums on Wilder’s record.

Tua would have KO’d every single one of them and possibly killed a couple along the way.

I think Ortiz probably would be outboxing Tua but Tua would eventually get to him, simlar to the Wilder fights.

I'd rather run the same question with Morrison and Herbie Hide :risas3:

It goes back and forth like Dempsey, I feel he used to be overrated and is now underrated and considered a one dimensional slugger in many posts I've read. I didn't do a study to confirm though

Ortiz is the only one of Wilder's wins i'd pick over Hide and i'd favour Morrison over them all, including Ortiz if Morrison was at his best.
