I don't favor him to beat even an old Holmes, given his track record vs. other HWs.

Even though I'd favor him to beat Qawi (in probably a similar manner as Spinks), he'd be the best fighter Foster ever beat. I would've love to have seen Foster tested vs. a challenger of that level during his actual title reign.

I think there was a foster vs Qawi thread where I said this but Qawi is a much better technical and defensive fighter than Bob and foster throws really long, wide and over the top. Qawi wouldn't get caught, he would tag foster more than tiger did and probably knock him out. A lot of these names are close. But I don't think he beats Qawi at all. Foster presided over a super weak division

I think I agree with the general consensus, Foster likely wins out over everybody except Qawi and Holmes.
I see an 85 Holmes ripping Foster apart handily.

I'd favour Qawi and holmes against him but he clears the rest.

How about adding Vonzell Johnson i to the mix?
I'd like to see opinions on how Foster fares against a mover that's taller than him.

I'm sorry but I have to say it Fosters Light Heavyweight resume is very forgettable outside of Dick Tiger, who's more known for his Middleweight feats there isn't really one stand out name on Fosters resume.

Qawi, Conteh, Johnson, Muhammad, would all be considerably the best opponents hes ever fought at Light Heavyweight outside of Dick Tiger who as I said is more known at Middleweight.

Don't get me wrong regarding eye test Foster does look impressive and he has genuine 1 punch KO power, but Foster wasn't fighting opponents at the level of the ones mentioned in this thread.

So whilst I would favour Foster over a majority of the names mentioned it certainly isn't a certainty.

Qawi, Conteh, Muhammad, all at their best present a very tough nights work for Foster.

Yeah I'd favor Bob, he had a fantastic jab to keep Qawi at bay. Also if Qawi didn't like tasting Spink's right hand he won't like Fosters left hook either.
