Fury is nothing like Ali skill wise this comparison really sucks. Ali had a long lay off prior to that fight he ducked no one, he wasn't a fraud who viagrously beat one guy (Klitchko) used that for a life time to duck people.
This is nice and a good read but Fury is not going to win next time. I have doubts he will make it to the next fight.
This is a really good point. I will add that I don't remember seeing Ali crawling around on his belly on the sidewalk with alcohol poisoning, either. Pretty sure Ali's dad never head-butted a 14 year old kid, either, and if he did, he probably didn't get the worst of it. Ali only had the one parasite--Bundini--whereas Tyson has a huge extended family with their hands out and palms up. Ali was never accused of PEDs by VADA. Ali has a legacy. The differences between the men go on and on.
Exactly this he had no confidence in his recently heeled cut and that’s the only reason he avoided the clinch, i have no doubt about that
Frazier-Ali I had fairer scores with one clearly acknowledging Frazier as a decisive winner. Fury got benefitial scoring and still fell short because was dropping the rounds in a manner that left no room to negotiate with reality.
Absolutley. Tyson is creative. The style and game plan from Wilder 1 to Wilder 2 was night and day. I don't many saw that coming, team Wilder didn't. There's levels between Usyk and Wilder but Fury may still have a trick or two up the sleeve
I'm sure that will somewhat work but how much will it work. I think Usyk negated some potential clinches through body positioning and pushing on Fury's bicep when he reached out. I suppose if the Gypsy King turns King Octopus and the ref allows it then Usyk will be exhausted.
Lol. It seems this “comparison” is primarily purposed for heady extrapolation and unfounded prediction of future success for Fury against Usyk. Tbh. I was “hooked” by the irrefutable similarities between how the ref saved Fury in round 9 - just as Arthur Mercante blatantly saved Ali in round 11 of the FOTC back in ‘71? I swear, it must’ve given everyone a strong feeling of Déjà Vu. So, if Fury loses the rematch - will we move on to another, even more hopeful (inexplicable?) “comparison”, - say, the Charles - Walcott series - to suggest that, even after 2 losses to Olek, THIRD TIME will be a charm for Tyson and that he will win a possible rubber match by KO.
I figured out that Fury wasn’t actually drunk. He was simply crawling around on all fours like a big Liverwurst sausage, still trying find the “mojo” that Usyk took from him.
