I don't think anyone could beat Tyson at his own game. Rocky is a slugger with good stamina but poor footwork. To beat Tyson you need a good jab,height and be able to hold on the inside and Rocky does not have those traits
The worst part is he was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Savold wasn't gracefully dodging, using fancy footwork, or using a masterful block or parries. Rocky was just that sloppy...! But according to the typical fans around here, Rocky was a genius with high ring IQ, great timing, defense, and accuracy. This was prime Rocky just 7 months before he won the title.

He clearly recovers his balance and positioning by shuffling into a southpaw stance and moving back to an orthodox stance in order to avoid being countered Love how you shifted your argument from the amount of time it took him to setup the JJW punch to him supposedly falling off balance as evidence of his deficiency in timing.
Marciano wouldn't stand a snowballs chance vs Tyson you're talking about a 185 pound slugger vs 220 pounds highly skilled offensive machine. It would be a repeat of Rocky Balboa vs Clubber Lang Marciano would be trying to slug against the bigger stronger fighter and would be KO'ed brutally in a few rounds.
