Tyson connected on 45.6 pct of his punches and threw 35.1 punches a round Marciano connected on 37 pct of his punches while throwing 48.7 a round
Didn't say Rocky had better accuracy. I actually said Tysons was superior. We were on about Rocky's timing. Seems like you've forgotten what you're arguing about. This is getting embarassing.
I have made the comment before here that his most devoted acolytes would pick him in a H2H matchup with Godzilla.
One guy was saying he hit harder than Foreman. Can you imagine Foreman hitting Cockell all those shots?
McVey what? Homicide Hank was saying Marciano was capable of throwing 80 punches a round for 15 rds I posted the record for 2 heavyweights according to HH Marciano's nearly equalled Tua and Ibeabuchi's record can;t you see how silly this is? Marciano never threw1400 punches in a fight in his life and neither did any other heavyweight! The most punches thrown in a world championship boxing match is 1,675 by Antonio Margarito (Mexico) in a 12-round WBO welterweight title match against Joshua Clottey in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA on 2 December 2006.
Still waiting on those Tyson clips. It's not my fault you didn't get enough attention at home growing up, because it's clear that's the only reason you even post here and contribute absolutely nothing interesting or insightful.
I never claimed that there was any particular fight where he threw 1400 punches so you're being very disingenuous. There was no compubox in 1950. I gave you examples of rounds where he threw upwards 90+ punches. There are no complete films of any of his fights so even if we watched the films and counted punches, we would still have no idea of the actual number.
