Saw where Marco Huck, who hasn't fought in 4 years is coming back on June 29th to fight someone named Evgenios Lazaridis in Berlin. Don't know much about this guy except he's 6'6' and has a 19-5 record with 13 ko's. This appears to me to be a final attempt to use his name for a last ditch cash out fight. If he wins expect a long list of heavy's who want a 40+ year old scalp on their resume...

Wouldn't mind seeing him in with Jennings considering both are making comebacks after several years out of the ring.

at heavyweight? Huck was always in pretty good scraps, maybe him vs Diablo can be made as a battle of the old guys

His last 3 were at heavyweight.

I myself am surprised that Huck basically retired after the Usyk beatdown, because surely he was making good money every time he fought. Even at just 50k per fight, I imagine anyone of us would fight a couple of times a year until we simply can´t.

I stopped really following him after he lost to Glowacki, I think the Usyk fight was the last fight I watched of his. Might be some room for him at heavyweight, I thought he beat Povetkin but that was a long time ago. If anything he has a devastating right hand that is accurate. Might be just quick enough against these big guys to connect.

Who is the best guy you foresee him beating?

Oh, um, he doesn´t belong anywhere besides retirement. He is 39 now and barely has had any fights the last decade. He especially does not belong at heavyweight as anyone even remotely decent would likely beat him.
In his prime he had the athleticism, grit and experience to compete with bigger men, such as Povetkin. But that was 12 years ago.
He might be able to beat the corpse of Gerald Washington by outworking him.

    Lazaridis is a quality journeyman.

Huck ought to retire, but if he does stick about, go to bridger.

Would have guessed Huck was older than 39. He has been boxing for over 20 years now.

To put it into perspective, he’s the same age as Briedis, still has a good year or so left in boxing if he has the desire.

Still think he beat Povetkin, but that was more than a decade ago. Don't think he'd be much of a threat in the division nowadays.
