I'm not sure. I'm sure plenty would enjoy seeing notorious weight bully Haney get a pounding again... But it's not like it was particularly competitive first time around, so it'd be selling purely on the enjoyment of watching a knobhead get hurt - and without even a punchers chance for the underdog to keep it interesting. Could be wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't do all that well.
I'm sure the potential for a huggy Haney pitty-patty points win will have them queuing up I'm sure it'll do "okay" - I just think the idea of a grudge match where one of the two has a sub-50% KO ratio and hasn't knocked anyone out in 5 years (will be 6+ by the time this happens) is unlikely to do really big numbers. (And fwiw, I'm more than happy to see Ryan get smashed up - it's just not going to be Haney who does it)
Didn’t Haney say that he’s planning on taking the next two years off? Or did I hear that incorrectly? I know you can’t really ever take these boxing retirements seriously but was just curious.
Devin should move on from Ryan whom he will not have any physical advantages again, and fight the likes of Tank, Shakur instead. Martin did really good for 8 rounds.
Though some don't seem to realize it, there's actually more to boxing than just knocking people out. Funny, you claimed you had me on ignore. Oops!
I did, every now and again I take a peep this seemed reasonable and I couldn't remember why I'd ignored you, so I thought I'd give you another go Agreed - there's definitely more to boxing than knocking people out! But when there's someone you want to see humbled, seeing them get outboxed on points very rarely hits the spot... I can see people buying it to see Haney get striped, but not the other way around.
Now, now. Be a bit pointless to put people on ignore and then read everything regardless Every now and again I get curious.
