    Chavez-Taylor
    Castro-John David Jackson
    Coralles-Castillo

I remember there was a heavyweight that lost every round of the fight than ended up winning the fight by TKO in the 15th. I can't remember the names of the fighters

Any other good ones? So I can add to my watch list

A good one is Jorge Paez vs Calin Grove 1 Paez was behind on the judges scorecards going into the last round then he scores 3 knockdowns in the 15th round to win a Majority Decision.

Carl Froch vs Jermain Taylor. Even if the judges hadn't been slightly biased, he still needed a knockout to win that fight. What really amazed me about that round was the level of poise and patience he showed despite invaluable seconds melting off the clock. He wasn't smothering his work or getting reckless like most fighters would in that situation. He knew his only chance would be using his jab to set up a straight right hand with all of his body weight. And that's how he initially hurt him.

But he didn't start going ape **** when he had his man faltering. He remained calm and disciplined, pressuring him while still landing clean and accurate punches. Froch even slipped Taylor's jab to land a right counter then followed his retreating opponent with a double jab to land two more right crosses to put him down. An excellent sequence from a guy not known for that type of elite level ring craft.

    Weaver-Tate?

LaMotta was losing by a mile to Dauthuille in their title match, & was reduced to just playing "possum" in the championship rounds to try to sucker Dauthuille in for a KO. It finally worked in the final round, & Dauthuille ended up being counted out w/ just 13 seconds left in the fight. Dauthuille would later admit that he knew LaMotta was only playing possum, but still tried to use the opportunity to try for a KO anyway - if he'd just stayed away for 3 minutes, he'd have been champ! Dauthuille never recovered either physically or mentally from this defeat - his career spiraled downhill soon afterward, & he ended up dying young & destitute.

Weaver - Tate was the one that I was going to mention. A comeback right for the history books.

There have been closer shaves of course, but Foreman-Moorer is a prime candidate given the magnitude of the result.

Maybe im just a hater but I feel Ali had a real talent for winning in unwinnable situations, Foreman for example

Brian London came a few seconds short of this against Johansson. He got the one shot knockout but it was too late. He was down 11-0.

I think that it looked unwinnable to us, but most of the time, it was simply part of the plan. Ali wasn't a knockout artist who'd come out blazing in the first round, he was a knockout artist that wore you down, figured you out, and saw it to the end.
