Better wins: Teofimo Lopez (Loma, Taylor) or Bam Rodriguez (Cuadras, SSR, Gallo)

Loma is a blown up 126 pounder campaigning in a division full of giants who are all way bigger than him. The size disparity between him and most of those guys he's fought at 135 is ridiculous and unlike many of his peers, and that includes top 10, top 3 even P4P stars, he's fought lots of legit bangers or KO artists not only his size but bigger or way bigger. Teofimo was a murderous punching (at 135) 140 pounder campaigning at 135 vs in his own words a 126 pounder Loma.

Like I said, after Teo beat Loma let's see how he fares in his third weight class trying to become undisputed in that division winning the belts all individually.

Well, he couldn't even make it past the first defence mark in his first weight class (a weight class he was massive for) and in his own backyard. He lost to Kambosos and he should have three Ls in total because he lost to Martin and Ortiz in his second weight class, again in his backyard.

I said the same abut Haney and unlike Loma who is tiny for his third weight class and is always fighting on the road or in his opponent's backyards, they were gigantic or massive for their first weight class, massive or big for their second, and when Haney moves up to his third he will still be bigger than dan near all the 147 pounders he faces and if you doubt that he's already bigger or as big as most of the top 147 pounders now.

And look what happened when Haney fought someone closer to his size for the first time in his career? He got bounced up and down off the canvas like a yoyo and I don't care about the trace amounts of ostrich Ryan had in his system because he trained in nightclubs on beer and his gas tank was poor.

Haney has fought 3 punches in his entire career

Shot inactive much smaller Linares who hurt him badly

Rougarou who arguably lost to a dollar store version of Haney in his previous fight and who couldn't close the distance against either to land with his power so his power was never a factor

And Ryan

Teofino got dropped by Kambosos and twice by Martin

Sure he beat the bigger Taylor but everyone can see that Taylor is not what he once was for a variety of reasons

People say Bam-Rod was in the right place at the right time but maybe that applies more to Teo

With the exception of Commey who Teofimo got out of there early after catching him with a beautifully timed bomb of a right hand Loma has done much better against all three of their other common opponents

Dominated and stopped Kambosos without losing a round
Dominated, beat the crap out of and stopped Nakatani without losing a round
Beat Ortiz albeit it was tough close affair

Whereas, conversely

Teomifo lost to Kambosos in his own backyard
Went life and death against Nakatani on his own soil
Should've lost to Ortiz wide in his own backyard

And Loma is old and past his prime and all those guys are way bigger and heavier than him, whereas, conversely, Teo is in his prime and was bigger, about the same size as or a bit smaller than them

Screw Teo's have gloves won't travel weight bully female dog ass ho

And he ran from the rematch against Loma like a female dog, Ran from it on his own soil too like a female dog just like that other female dog Haney did.

Well, by that logic we also have to acknowledge that Twink fought a much lesser version of Ryan than Haney did

And we also have to acknowledge that Ryan has always had a left hook from hell and Haney's chin has always been suspect. Despite the fact he's barely fought any punchers, let alone ones his size, he was hurt badly by a much smaller inactive shell of Linares, hurt by blown up 126 pounder Loma who he had an obscene size advantage over, and rocked by much smaller ATG featherfist Jojo.

Trace amounts of ostrich taken when he took it sure as hell wasn't going to transform him into a murderous puncher and, as said, he clearly didn't take training near as seriously as he should have because he was seen out partying and drinking during the week of the fight and had a terrible gas tank

Haney's chin is what lost him that fight not ostrich or Ryan missing weight. Haney had never fought anyone remotely close to his size or any legit punchers close to it and the first time he did got discombobulatized or dropped everytime Ryan landed flush. Had Ryan been in proper shape and been able to sustain an attack the fight would've been over s soon as he did and even the ref with all his meddling to protect Haney wouldn't have been able to save him.

Teo is another massive weight bully who got found out when he started facing opponents his own size at 140. Sure he beat a damaged goods bigger Taylor but he should have 2 Ls at that weight. He was a devastating puncher with vicious KO power in both hands at 135, he's only stopped 1 of his last 5 at 140. IIRC, I don't think he's even scored a KD at 140

 

It's not about what you want to buy or don't want to buy, Olu. Haney unquestionably fought a much bigger ''juiced'' version of Ryan who came in at 143 not a catchweight of 136lbs The reason why Tank refused to fight Garcia at 140, a weight Twink had already fought at and supposedly won a world title at is because he wanted to fight a diminished Ryan not a full strength one.

If he wanted the credit for beating a full strength Ryan he shouldn't have insisted on fighting him at a catchweight.

If you don't want to give Ryan a free pass for being a PED cheat you have to hold every PED cheat to the same standard, including those you're a big fan of.

As said, Ryan has always had a devastating left hook and Haney has always had a schoolgirl's chin.

We know Teofimo is a very good fighter. We also know that massive weight bullies often aren't near as good or as destructive when they start fighting opponents their own size, closer to their size or bigger than them as they are when weight bullying leprechauns they're much bigger than.

Teofimo was one shot sparking opponents out cold with either hand at 135, he hasn't scored a KD against any of his opponents at 140.

Taylor was ''undefeated'' but you yourself scored the Catterall fight for Jack. He was also coming off a 16 month layoff, had only fought once in three years, an unofficial loss, and a host of injuries and we know he has a drink problem too. And as you also know, the Shane McGuigan trained Taylor was by far the best version.
