Which year has been the best year for boxing over the past 15 years? In terms of quality fights across the board, dream match ups, significant accomplishments by different fighters etc.?
2012 was a great year. Mayweather-Cotto, Canelo-Mosley. Ward-Dawson Pacquaio-Bradley Pacquaio-Marquez IV Amir Khan-Danny Garcia Victor Ortiz-Josesito Lopez Mike Alvarado-Brandon Rios 1 Donaire-Nishioka Chavez Jr-Martinez I'm sure I'm missing a few more but those were some good fights in 2012.
This year. I think there's been consistently big cards put on, few hype bubbles burst and stacked Saudi shows. This year there's been a noticeable dip in the UFC's quality and it's one of the only years where boxing cards have been clearly much better.
agreed. If we get Bivol Beterbiev this year, this year will be by far the best year. Also agreed. UFC has dipped and boxing has gone up.
I think its this year. Boxing is in a good spot and its only getting better imo. All the sheep that cry that boxing is dead have no idea what they are talking about.
