I hate them both pretty equally, they're both repellent to watch pussies, but Shakur wins this battle in a landslide.

Picking between two turds. Shakur is a professional in the boring department, although I think he would still beat Haney.

no way does Shakur hang even close with Haney. Doesn’t have the pop needed to hurt Haney which is needed to have a legit shot at beating him.

Contrary to Haney fans him beating Shakur clearly and easily does nothing for how vastly and laughably over rated he was and still seems to be

At least two fights which Haney clearly lost (Loma and Garcia) were actually entertaining

Shakur hits harder than Haney though and is quicker.

I don’t like Haneys chances against Shakur

I think he outboxes and outmaneuvers him. He's just smarter and slicker. Haney has a built in game plan. Jab, circle, right hand, clinch. He can't do anything else. He would get figured out after 3

Everyone hits harder than Haney, so that's irrelevant. What matters is, does Shakur hit harder than Ryan? Absolutely ****ing not!

I didn’t think shakur was boring against herring and valdez or yoshino. He threw combos and sat on his left hand. It seemed like he was coming together more as a fighter and that has not been the case in these last two fights

Haney and Shakur are the kinds of fighters that can only be good to watch if matched with the right opponents. Shakur looked awesome against Herring, Valdez, and Yoshino while Haney was watchable against Jojo, Loma, and Prograis.

When Shakur lets his hands go and gets to work he’s better to watch than Haney but when he stinks it out he’s worse than Haney. So they’re both pretty equal in terms of boring for me. Can’t decide honestly.

To be fair, they both fight like I would fight if I was a boxer....slap and run, slap and run. Maybe I'd just run.

Say whatever about Tank Davis but he usually ko's his opponents. A lot more entertaining.

They're the symptom, US slickness is the disease

Loma is tiny for 135, is routinely facing opponents who are way bigger, heavier and longer than him and has fought many legit bangers and KO artists not only his size or bigger but way bigger too

And he's fought 13 world champions in just 21 fights, all either in their prime or close to it, 9 of them much or way bigger than him, 10 of them bigger, 2 the same size and only one smaller than him

And he's fighting on the road or in his opponent's backyards all the time too

However, despite all this he still sports a KO 66%, has stopped, dropped, badly hurt or hurt every fighter he has fought at 135 sans Teo

    Linares was KO'd
    Kambosos was KO'd
    Crolla was KO'd
    Nakatani was KO'd

Pedraza was dropped x 2 and very nearly KO'd
Commey was dropped and very nearly KO'd
Campbell was dropped and very nearly KO'd

    Haney was hurt
    Ortiz was hurt

All of them were much or way bigger than Loma

Despite the big/huge physical disadvantages he's routinely giving away, he still simultaneously remains one of the very best offensive and best defensive fighters in the sport and is good to watch and isn't stinking the joint out running like a cheetah, holding like an octopus, ducking below waist level, stiff-arming etc.

Haney was gigantic for 135 and 140 too and is way bigger and heavier than everyone he's beaten

    He sports a KO 48%

Has never stopped a single world champion he's fought even though he was way bigger than all of them

3 of the 6 he's fought were old men

2 shot to bits and have been stopped in 10 of their combined 14 losses and were known to be chinny in their primes against opponents their own size

Has only scored 1 KD in his last 8 fights and only 1 KD in his entire career against a world champion

Shakur was a big 126 and 130 and he's looks about the same size as the 135 pounders he's fought

    He sports a KO 45%

Has stopped 2 of his last 8 opponents

Has only stopped 1 at 135

Has never dropped anyone at 135 albeit he did stop Yoshino

Has only fought 3 world champions

Has only scored 1 KD against a world champion, against the much smaller Valdez

    How you explain?
