Shakur is extremely arrogant talking back to his corner. Who does he think he is ?

As a fighter you need a coach you can trust and in between rounds you need to listen and recover.
Shakur just showing typical disrespectful Gen Z behavior with main character syndrome and no respect for the traditional trainer fighter relationship.

 

He thinks he's Floyd, but atleast Floyd listened to Roger or Sr. in his corner

 

I noticed that as well and the old man trying to "handle" him while simultaneously hanging on to his job. The sense of entitlement Stevenson entertains is obvious and ultimately, self defeating.

 

I wasn’t really paying attention between rounds…what happened?

 

It seemed like Shakur kept complaining to his corner that Artem wasn’t doing what he(Shakur) wanted, which is so lame it’s kinda funny.

 

I have never seen a guy on his stool argue so much between rounds. Bad chemistry there.

Very bad sign and he won't go far with that attitude. Even the big PPV stars who make 8 figures per fight like Canelo, Fury, AJ, Tank etc don't argue back with their corners. You need someone you can trust in your corner otherwise you're getting KO'd.

 

He could very well be the most unlikeable boxer today. He's such a man child.

 

Too arrogant for his own good. He thinks he's the boss of everything and expects everything to go his way on a silver platter without having to listen to his corner.

When fighters complain about their opponent not doing what they want them to do that tells you more about them not being as good as they hype themselves up to be. If he's supposed to be "That Guy" then he would have been able to make the fight a lot easier and look impressive winning no matter how the opponent is fighting.

Shakur really isn't doing himself any favors by complaining too much about why he gets criticized. If you want to prove your haters wrong act like a real professional, take those criticisms like a man and use them to improve yourself.

 

Oh no, not again! Grandpa told him to go for the kill and he told grandpa to relax, he's breaking him down , he needs to be patient. Unfortunately Artem was just running to survive in the later rounds

 

He's a clown. I've never liked him. Specially after the way he talked to Kambosos after Kambosos won with a bad performance (I forgot the opponent's name). He felt the need to clown him in person. Garbage.
