Foreman was still like 220 when he was 18 though, same as when he was in 73-74. He probably wasn't that much stronger than he was in '68. A lot of genetic freaks, which Foreman appears to be, often peak that early. I don't see the evidence for Foreman and Liston being significantly far apart in terms of physical strength. It mainly proves that Liston was still strong as an older man, and that he probably could have comparable strength to a peak Foreman.
How? And how he grow wider and 20 pounds heavier? But 19 and 25 are 6 years apart which is not a small period.
He lifted weights in his prime too and he also chopped woods in his prime but after olympics, that's how he gained strenght and muscle mass,by chopping woods and lifting weights.
He was humble just as he was for Frazier whom he destroyed but he said he was scared which is crazy. He also stated that Norton could beat him if he just jabbed him all night long, because he was humble. I don't know if Lyle who used to do 1000 pushups every day is not stronger than Liston but Foreman said Lyle was the strongest man he faced in or out of the ring.
He lifted weights and chopped woods too, you can find his channel on youtube. And you wannna explain me how he was stronger when he was skinny 18 years old at 175lbs than now 280 of pure muscle lifting cars and heavy things? Pathetic.
Wider means nothing and heavier doesn’t equate to strength even though its a small period its still in your given timeframe
