There are certain fighters seem of us can’t even fathom losing in their primes. Who are these mystical fighters for you who you’ll always pick in a hypothetical? For me, I’d struggle to pick anybody to beat Golovkin, Monzon, Pac, or Gans in their primes.

64-67 Ali was such a beauty to watch that I feel, even if the fights against Frazier, Foreman, Norton could be very close, I don't see 'em beating him.
    Lightweight Duran too >>

Not sure I'd make anyone favourite to beat a prime RJJ at 168lbs, under a modern rules set.

Slightly off topic but your comment makes me wonder who you think would win in Golovkin vs Monzon and Pac vs Gans.

    Draw both ways :p
If I had to pick a winner though I'd say GGG SD and Pac SD.

I find it easy to see Hagler beating Monzón.

Yeah, prime Roy is hard to imagine losing 7 rounds out of 12... you can pick a puncher to hit him in the head, but prime Roy clearly losing 7 rounds ? No.

But Ray did lost at welterweight.

Granted, it was to Jake LaMotta, who was a light heavyweight at the time, but he did.

    Ezzard Charles?
    Archie Moore?
    Bob Foster?
    Billy Conn?
    Gene Tunney?

They’d all be 168lbs in Roy’s era. They’d all batter him to for my money.

GGG in the day of weigh in era would be a small light heavyweight and would be the 3rd or 4th best guy in some eras.
