How many amateur fights did Eddie Futch have

    From my understanding, he was an amateur fighter in the 1930s and even sparred with Joe Louis. Even though he was a light weight and Joe Louis was a light heavyweight. I also read somewhere that Emmanuel Stewart had like 90 amateur fights but he never went pro.

    Boxrec has his record as 4-0-0, but I'd bet that he had much more to his name. It's likely that there aren't many records of his career as a boxer.
