Given that Ennis is signed with Matchroom, with Eddie Hearn , and with Crawford probably busy until 2025, Ennis needs to stay active. Is it possible that Eddie Hearn might feed Benn to Ennis in a voluntary, given that they're both Matchroom fighters, and it'd presumably be an easy fight to make, and in doing so, get rid of him, so to speak? Any thoughts?
The relationship between Eddie Hearn and Conor Benn has gone from bad to worse. Matchroom must find an opponent who generates the most money possible and Ennis is not among them.
Hearn if Benn returns will be trying to put him in with Eubank Jr. It's huge money over here, I have no interest in it myself but I'm not their market. Ennis "Boots" vs Benn I'd enjoy, Ennis would beat up, victimise and finish him, becfun to watch.
I reckon that particular ship has sailed, I don't think anyone is interested in it now, not that I ever was personally. The Ennis fight might just sell because people would potentially pay to see the unlikable git Benn slapped about!
I would gladly stay up until 6 am to watch Ennis bury what is left of Benn's career. Sadly I doubt Benn has the cojones to take that fight.
