Liston's career was conditioned by mobsters. Besides he was a tough puncher but technically he was not a monster.

I got Wlad and Vitali in the best 15 ever. When they dominated there were not dangerous competitors.

Lewis underestimated both McCall and Rahman even if he avenged all. Not properly a professional behaviour that can guarantee him to stay in the top 3 even if he is one of the best pugilistic specialist ever.

Tyson is in the top 10 ever because in his prime he changed the way to box.

Usyk is a master of technique and he got one of the best IQ ring ever and he is the only one between all those in the list together with Marciano to be undefeated.

Usyk already has 4 wins over heavyweight world titleholders.

    Joshua X 2
    Fury
    Dubois

All of these men were significantly BIGGER than Usyk.

And he's had 5 wins over cruiserweight world titleholders.

    Glowacki
    Briedis
    Huck
    Gassiev
    Bellew

He is 10-0 in world title fights. All of his world title opponents were in their PRIME, with the possible exception of Huck. There was no cherry-picking.

Dubois is not really a legit belt holder though he got gifted a vacated belt.

If Dubois manages to beat Joshua then I will consider him a legit belt holder but as of right now I do not.

Your opinion on hypothetical fantasy match ups which in all honesty means nothing because theres no fighter now that is remotely like Lewis, Bowe, etc. That has nothing to do with quality wins and resume in regards to Heavyweight rankings.

Why do I rate Holyfield over Usyk ? Well its quite simple.

    Holyfield's resume at Heavyweight.....

    Michael Dokes
    Pinklon Thomas
    Ray Mercer
    Riddick Bowe
    George Foreman
    Buster Douglas
    Larry Holmes
    Mike Tyson x2
    Michael Moorer

    Compared to Usyk's Heavyweight resume......

    Tyson Fury
    Anthony Joshua x2
    Daniel Dubois
    Dereck Chisora

Holyfield's win over a 25 year old Bowe is better than Usyk's win over a 35 year old Fury. Holyfield's wins over Tyson is better than Usyk's wins over Joshua.

What I don't understand is you're one of Fury's biggest detractors which is fine but then in another sentence you call Usyk a great Heavyweight for beating Fury that don't make much sense to me.

Usyk is a great in a P4P sense but I don't think he has the resume as of yet to be called a great at Heavyweight.

I find the hypocrisy amusing. As soon as Usyk wins Fury is a great fighter.

Usyk is very good but there is not enough out there currently for him to win and get the resume he needs to crack the top 10. Boxing was a different game back in the day. Such a deeper pool of talent

I think Usyk is terrific, I really do. And I think he matches up respectably against any top 10 heavyweight ATG, in a p4p sense.
But personally I do not have him in my top 10 ATG heavies. I just don't think he has the longevity at the weight, depth and variety of wins which place him in that discussion.

You make a good point and let's not forget that in reality a lot of the past champs really only had to conquer the US and UK to become 'World' champion.

You haven't got a clue what you're talking about.

Pinklon Thomas and Michael Dokes journeyman/fringe contenders WTF ? they were both former world champions what are you talking about my guy ? Michael Dokes was rated as high as number 3 when Holyfield beat him.

Bowe mediocre ? so is Fury mediocre aswell then ? his career is similar to Bowe's except Bowe has never had an embarrassing moment like almost losing to a MMA fighter making his pro debut.

Douglas mediocre career ? you're showing your lack of knowledge again Douglas beat former world champions Oliver McCall, Greg Page, Trevor Berbick, add to his big win over Tyson his resume is better than 90 percent of the current Heavyweights now.

Foreman won the lineal title after losing to Holyfield enough said.

Holmes was coming off schooling undefeated Mercer.

Tyson was a huge favourite over Holyfield and a world champion.

Moorer a small light Heavyweight ? again another clueless post Moorer weighed between 215-220 he weighed 222 against Foreman which is of similar size to Usyk now.

Yeah let's be biased and try and criticize every notable win of Holyfield. And then try and say Usyk's win over Dubois is some great feat because Dubois got "awarded a vacated belt". But yet Dokes and Thomas who were legit world champions are considered journeyman and fringe contenders you can't make it up.

    I'll play your game now.

Tyson Fury = 35 years old coming off almost losing to an MMA fighter.

Dereck Chisora = An actual fringe contender/journeyman who has never been ranked in the top 10.

Anthony Joshua = Was beaten up and embarrassed by an obese Andy Ruiz and has beaten 1 top 10 ranked fighter in 5 years.

Daniel Dubois = Coming off being knocked down 3 times by a nobody never should've got a title shot.

See how easy that is to do ?

Holyfield got 10 losses because he fought until he was old. He desperately needed money. Even Tyson and Ali at a certain point of their career have continued to fight for money even if in a pitiful shape.

As to the quality of Holy's resume it is very good one of the best ever imo because he faced almost all the best fighters of the 90s and 00s. He ducked none and he made us see epic battles.

From my perspective you want to make look weak a lot of fighters who when fought with Holy would have destroyed most of the HWs of today.

Can you stop talking about a subject you clearly haven't got a clue about ? you're making yourself look silly calling Thomas and Dokes fringe contenders/journeyman was already a very moronic statement.

Mike Weaver after having a rough start to his career went on to have a very respected career so let me educate you.....

Weaver beat dangerous puncher Mercado who had 28 KO's in 33 wins, Weaver then got a title shot against a prime Larry Holmes and pushed him to the brink in one of the greatest Heavyweight fights of all time.

Weaver after that loss seemed to gain in confidence as he upset John Tate and become WBA champion with a stunning KO in the last round. Tate was considered the next big thing and ranked as number 2 Heavyweight in the world when Weaver beat him. Weaver was then ranked as the number 1 Heavyweight in the world only behind Lineal Champion Larry Holmes for a 2 year period, and had some good wins over undefeated James Tillis, and hard punching South African Gerrie Coetzee.

Mike Weaver is considered to be a top 10 Heavyweight of the decade in the 1980s. Comparing Weaver to Martin is absolutely ridiculous and shows you have no clue what you're talking about.

There’s no one on that list who would trouble Usyk too much.

Premature to rate Usyk all-time as a heavyweight until his career is over. He could lose to Fury in the rematch and drop his fight after that for all we know and that will force a major rethink about where he stands all-time.
