Maskaev in his prime goes to 1974 and challenges George Foreman for the HW title. How much mayhem ensues?

Masakev had 7 losses and in all 7 of those losses he was stopped.

Maskaev had a below average chin and was stopped early by the likes of Peter, Johnson, McCall.

Foreman KOs Maskaev within the first 6 rounds although I think Maskaev could survive and frustrate Foreman for a few rounds.

I'm waiting for NoNeck to say Maskaev puts on a masterclass and 12-0s Foreman.

Maskaev is being sold short. It took Tua 11 rounds and Foremen didn’t have that kind of gas tank. He had little problem with Jefferson, Courage, and Rahmanx2. Johnson landed a perfect shot, Goofi was an ill advised comeback fight, and he was 38 for Peter.

If it goes past round six, Foreman would be in trouble.

4-2 with one win via robbery. We’re talking about 1974 though.

So his gas tank improved once he reached 40?

Old Foreman at two tons of weight with an uppercut would catapult Maskaev outside the ring much farther away than Maskaev did with Rahman.

I wouldn’t pick Maskaev to beat 70s George OR 90’s George unless maybe it was the version who fought Briggs in the last fight of his career
