Shakur vs William Zepeda

This happens like clockwork every year. Everyone flip flops after the fight and claims the result was obvious.

 

Interesting how Boxrec have now changed their way of recording KO % though

 

I don't know why you guys get so hung up on people who don't like the fighter you do. This is what this boils down too. Then useing that lame excuse of "well if he fought him he won't get credit". Total BS. Zepeda is a worth while opponent.

 

Way off base with your generalization. Just calling out unfair critics. No need to project.

 

My generalization? Dude , your “no one would give him credit” if he fought him is about as baseless of a generalization as they come.

I am actually impressed Shakur is going for this fight so soon after his last. A win here would be massive for his stock.

How good of a runner and toreador can Shakur be to hold Zepeda off?

ok dis actually is a good fight, **** stank for avoiding stevenson tbh

 

it wasn’t just that Dos Santos was Faster he had a lot more “pop” & “stank” on his punches then Shakur.
that combo of speed & stank had Shakur Trigger shy.

That being said I could see Shakur matadoring Zepeda / giving him the Valdez treatment - but I could also see Zepeda giving Shakur swarming south paw issues.

I dont like the Shakur style unless
He ultimately overwhelms an opponent with speed & skills & stomps on the gas to force a stoppage.
That dos Santos performance was where he lost a-lot of fans. Myself included.

How does Shakur win this fight without a ref to let him get away with hugging 100 times in the fight?
