Faster reflexes, power in both hands, ability to switch hit, better counter puncher, more psychical strength, better ring IQ, better stamina. Better finisher
Shawn Porter is better than Maidana. Errol Spence is a better Welterweight than the rest besides Benitez and maybe Mcgirt and Cotto
Haha Amir Kahn is not even a top 5 Crawford win. Ive noticed that theres a lot of UK delusion on this forum. This is a classic example.
Cap. Hindsight 20/20. Spence looked great when he faced Ugas and that was after the accident. The reality is that people viewed it as a 50/50 fight before the fight happened. Now that Crawford won in such dominant fashion people have completely changed their tune. Yes, Spence may not have been as great as he used to be but that was an all time great performance by an all time great fighter. Just sit back and appreciate history.
They tried to freeze Crawford out and finally Spence made the fight happen (credit to him) and you see what happened
Well Trinidad didn't actually officially lose to ODLH i agree it was controversial but i do think Trinidad has a good argument for a draw atleast. ODLH's resume is also considerably better than Crawford's and he's much more proven at the elite level than Crawford. Crawford's only opponent who you could class in the upper echelon level is Spence and that win has an asterisk over it due to the car crashes and inactivity. That list of Welterweight's you also named is not that impressive to be quite honest Spence i already mentioned above. Porter was at the end of his career and inactive, Brook suffered a serious eye damage vs Golovkin and was never the same and had already lost to Spence, Khan at the end of his career already suffered multiple KO losses, Kavaliauskas is an ok name but not elite level and Ortiz stopped him quicker than Crawford did.
Gamboa had no business at Lightweight Crawford looked two weight divisions bigger than him it was a mismatch in size. Cotto lost his biggest fights ? yeah that might have something to do with him facing Pacquiao, Mayweather, who are two top 20 fighters of all time and are probably the 2 best fighters of the last 30 years.
I don't think Spence looked great vs Ugas he was badly hurt in the fight and alot of people were questioning Spence's punch resistance after the fight. As for Crawford being an ATG ? no not for me. People harp on about him being Lineal champion in multiple weightclasses which is a great achievement don't get me wrong. But look at the fighters he become Lineal against....vacated lineal title vs Ray Beltran, another vacated lineal title vs Viktor Postol. Postol is a solid win Beltran not so much and Spence is a big name but also has an asterisk over it. Achievement wise Crawford has good credentials but when you add context to it it's not as impressive as you think and Crawford's opposition for the most part is quite forgettable for a top P4P guy.
You can only fight the top fighters in your weight class at the time and that is what Crawford has constantly done
Spence was fine. His mouthpiece fell out and he went to pick it up before getting hit by a punch he couldn't see
I'm going to answer this honestly. And I'm going to preface this by saying Whitaker is a top 20-25 p4p great, for me, and Crawford not near that. But I do not see this fight as anything but seriously dangerous chess for Whitaker. Crawford is much more physically strong than he looks and he's a surgeon who's never without the scalpel in his hand. It's not that I don't favour Whitaker at his best in these weights...but it's as tentatively as I can pick a guy. If he weren't just exactly as durable as he is, even a tick more vulnerable, I don't pick him. I didn't think Crawford was special the first time I saw him, but the spider sense started tingling more and more every time since. He's a long, sharp icicle, hanging above a front door, waiting to drop on some guest's head and end their life. If you manage to get into his house, it's H. H. Holmes' house.
