It honestly depends on the level on injury. Everyone reported what Betebievs promoters said: that the injury was a ruptured(torn) meniscus.
So if it´s just a small tear, then he will be fine with rest. But if he tore his meniscus apart like I did, it will never heal the same.
But I doubt it´s that bad because otherwise he wouldn´t be back to training so soon.

A really bad meniscus injury puts you out for at least 6 months. There is no way anyone could go through a full camp with such an injury.

I wondered how you would make a Beterbiev injury post into an attack on Usyk.

    Kudos for this one.

Impossible to know until fight night. Seems a short turn around.

    At 40?

I've seen 25-28-30 year olds come back from that but not someone at 40. And usually the rehab is longer than this. I'm mainly skeptical reason being Beterbiev has had other issues. He might not be able to climb back from this.

Likely was a minor injury, meaning just some swelling and lack of mobility due to that.

It depends on how serious the injury is.
It should not be written as if Arthur is missing one leg.
It's as if Arthur is a pirate with a stick up to his knees.

Based on the videos below your original comment, he's looking pretty good!
I think we have to admit....he's not a normal 40. More likely a Tom Brady 40.

That we won't dispute, he's not normal. And him being a 40+ biker like me makes me all the more supportive

    I have tempered optimism

It makes sense. Beterbiev often uses his meniscus as a weapon. If it's subpar then he is at a disadvantage.

Exactly, Bivol deserves less than zero credit if he wins.
