If Lara has anything left, I think he'll be a bit too nimble for Garcia at this stage of the game.

I’d be shocked if Danny vs Lara is competitive even at Lara’s age. Lara is just a bad match up for Danny.

Awful card, I won't bother to make an effort to watch. Too bad, there are lots of interesting fights for Canelo.

I would strongly agree. Garcia and Laura have a combined 4 fights in the last nearly 5 years. Garcia has 1 KO in the last 7 years and he is moving up to fight a guy that has never been KO'd. He is in his 40s however. THAT is you co-headliner on a PPV? It's an embarrassment.

Canelo is going to be stripped of the IBF strap, he's no longer Undisputed at 168.

I'm pretty sure Morel and Iglesias would demolish Berlanga in round or two, Mbilli would batter him and stop in 4-5 rounds, and I'd strongly favour Munguia and Derevyanchenko to beat Berlanga. I'd even favour Scull to take him to school. No way Berlanga is second best opponent for Canelo at SMW. Actually, even not top 10

Berlangy is objectively a ****heap of an opponent if there ever was one, he's terrible in fact, his confidence was shook after the Coceres, Angulo and Rolls matches, with the last two clearly out pointing him and getting jobbed on the cards. The only reason he beat Quigley is because of the knockdowns, and even then it was arguably a draw. And even more depressing, Jason was clearly chosen as a bounce back easy KO win, after BooBoo of all people, stopped him in 2. Mungles mangles his ass, as does Derevyanchenko. Hell, John Ryder could come out of retirement if he wants an easy KO to end his career on. Charlo would probably even stop him. There's no defending him as an opponent whatsoever. Although one could argue this is a confidence building easy KO win that Canelo possibly needs.

That being said, I think Lara vs Garcia is going to be a bizarrely interesting match up, and a potential banana peel for Erislandy. Stylistically he's all wrong for Danny, but Lara is getting old and all Danny needs to do is keep it competitive and he probably wins the decision.

Berlanga and Skull were the mandatories. I reckon he picked the better option.

Its a poor fight and its going to be going head to head with a UFC card that will be the first ever combat sports card at The Sphere too.

He did. But let´s not act for a second as if he truly cared. PBC and DAZN were willing to pay for Berlanga, so Canelo went with it.
I think we might see Skull vs Jermall on the undercard. Skull reportedly got some sort of a step aside deal and Canelo wants to fight Jermall for some reason. And honestly, it would be a good fight for the card.
