Boxing at Paris 2024 (Les Jeux de la XXXIII Olympiade)

Standard of the 3 women’s fight in this session has been really poor. Judges as usual massively giving the rounds to anyone who goes on the front foot and throws a lot of punches.

Italy had the female version of Okolipus fighting for them, getting 2 points deducted in one round and then still holding and should have had a 3rd point off. But referee didn’t want to deduct the third point.

 

This fight now with Ozer is the best standard so far and the 4th bout of the session, thought Ozer won the first round too. But given to Italian 3-2.

 

I thought it was a man’s match at first. The Indian had a full moustache.

 

Mesiano is through here you win the first 2 rounds of a women’s fight and it’s all she wrote.

 

Somuneuk looks good, had the Kosovo fighter hurt there at one point.

 

Kosovo fighter did great to turn that around and won the last round and fight for me.
