Questions Regarding Chisora, Zhang, Joyce, Parker.

Does Zhang's victory over Joyce not look as impressive now ? or did Zhang just ruin Joyce ?

Is Chisora a top 10 Heavyweight for you now ?

Parkers loss to Joyce must also look significantly worse now aswell ?

Alot of questions after this fight.

 

How the hell does this compare to Zhang sparking Joyce in the 2nd round? What does it say about Parker who fought both Joyce and Chisora and Zhang?

 

Joyce is what he is. Always looks the same to me.. Not a fighter you can look at and say he's ruined, cos he never looks great anyway. Just a big granite chinned plodder with heavy hands but slow as maple syrup. Chisora would get battered by Zhang. But regardless, Chisora has still carved a very memorable HW career.

 

I'll add Parker to the title.

 

It means styles make fights, and triangle theories mean nothing.

I think Joyce will always be a bad match up for Parker, and that's ok. Chisora will give most HWs a tough scrap, and Zhang will always be dangerous early.

 

It tells us that triangle theory is nonsense and styles make fights

 

it tells me that theres a huge separation in talent between the top 2 hw and the rest of the mediocre pack. they are all so lacking in some dpt, that they can beat or be beat by any one of these other mediocrities, on any given night. the difference maker is the coach. And a good coach is harder to find than a good fighter.

Always felt Joyce looked like ****. Maybe overrated Zhang a little by beating him

It's not as if Chisora was dominating today. I had it 95-94 for Chisora, and I would have had Joyce winning 96-94 if not for the flash knockdown (in a round he otherwise would have won 10-9 but lost 10-8).

The Zhang-Joyce II fight was very one-sided, today's fight was not. Chisora hit Joyce flush several time without much effect, but when Zhang hit him, it had a very different effect.

But it is true that Joyce looked better before the Zhang fights than he has in his two recent fights. I think the two stoppage losses took the wind out of his sails, so to speak. He seems lethargic now. It could also be that he's aging - 38 is not a young age for a boxer, even for a heavyweight.

 

Chisora and Joyce should be retiring. This was a horrible fight. Winner of a bad fight just means you dont suck as bad as the other guy but you are still bad. Joyce was still using his face to block punches and Chisora was near death from exhaustion after 4 rnds.

End this crap of Chisora being top 10 or Joyce continuing with a cone back.

 

You're left with the gross choice of ranking Chisora or ranking some guy who's accomplished next to nothing in the HW division.

I gotta go with Chisora in that case. The nice thing about him is he'll go take a fight and if he loses then you can unrank him and if he wins then he proves. He won't make you think too hard for too long, that's why people love him

He keeps getting these fights because so many guys who should have established themselves in the top 10 aren't stepping up. Until they do there will be an opening for him.

 

Chisora and Joyce both looked like crap. Like two big drunks stumbling all over each other… entertaining fight and hats off to them for that… but entertaining and impressive aren't always the same…

Neither one of them should be anywhere near the top - proven by their recent fights against people at or near the top…..
