But I didn't say Usyk would ko Mike but win a UD.

Why couldn't U avoid Mike's aggression? Don't you agree that he has better footwork than Mike and a high ring IQ? He Certainly has pop on his punches, ok he's no one shot ko guy. He's smart enough to stay off the ropes, would spin off even if he fid get trapped has enough power to at least distract Mike.

60/40 Mike according to my algorithm. That's still a good chance of a Usyk win.

He hasn’t got the attributes to have kept Mike off of him.

Mike would have suffocated him on the inside.

I like Usyk, and think Mike Tyson is typically overrated, but Iron Mike is all wrong for Usyk especially prime for prime.

    Yeah.

    Why not.

If he’s using the Douglas fight as being logical, then yeah.

    My point exactly
Usyk may go down as greater, but style vs style? Mike f..ks him up

DoUglas blew hot and cold, but he had serious skills on form

Squint one eye during his fight with Mike and you will swear it was Holmes

    Agreed
No quarrel with Usyk, but Mike is his nightmare

Usyk doesn't hold or spoil and isn't 6'4 plus
He also clearly isn't a fan of body shots. Tyson cleans him up

Tyson has a way better chin than all 3
Watch his losses. He took huge beatings before it was over

Was also able to march through Ruddock. Usyks ticky tacky volume style works against many, but Mike f..ks him up. It's not like he can bully Mike inside like Holyfield or jab, move and grab like a lewis

You said Usyk was better than Douglas. I agree fully, but he doesnt fight that style and Mike wasn't at his best. Mike rolled into that fight like Fury vs Ngannou

    He’s a casual.

    He has to be.

He’s one of many on here who debate on statistics, rather than focusing on how they’d have matched on the night stylistically.

It’s like saying that Floyd Mayweather wouldn’t have beaten Hearns, before getting a reply saying that Floyd was levels above Iran Barkley.

I love Joyce. I’ve just always liked him. He seems a really cool and quiet guy. Very respectful. But this thread was a joke, with horrible so called logic applied.

Because he doesn't know how to box.

Joyce is a huge guy who relies on his size, granite chin, and power to simply overwhelm opponents. His size is a crutch for his total lack of fundamentals, speed, and defense.

His coach should be ashamed of himself. Joyce has talent but is squandering it and taking way too much punishment with his ooga booga juggernaut style. You'd think after being knocked out cold twice they'd go back to the drawing board to work on actual skill, timing, accuracy, body shots, etc.

He’s 39 it’s way too late for that. It would be like trying to teach wilder how to throw a jab

That's why I said his coach should be ashamed of himself. It's too late to correct the problems now, but they clearly didn't bother correcting any mistakes after 2 horrible losses. They could've at least tried.

Wilder used to actually have a pretty good jabin the first Stiverne fight. It had range, accuracy, speed, and some nice snap to it. Then he just inexplicably abandoned it to focus on raw power. Kind of similar to what happened with Razor Ruddock.

Tony Tucker stuck and moved well against Tyson and Usyk would have deployed similar tactics but with much more volume.

Usyk is 6'3, just one inch shorter than Douglas and yes he has a shorter reach at 78 inches but still far higher than Tyson's T Rex 71 inches.

People are talking about Tyson's Chin but not talking about how Usyk has never been knocked down once in both his amateur and professional career. The light hitting Douglas and Holyfield stopped Tyson and Usyk hits as hard if not harder than both. Holyfield was 215lbs and Douglas was a soft 231lbs in the fights against Tyson.
