Nope he is a grown man and this is what he does for a living. The damage is done now anyway so he may as well keep fighting until he can't anymore. There is still money for him to make and some ranked heavyweights he could still possibly beat or at least give them a good fight.

Gonna be even worse now... i know he won but he took a bit of a beating himself there.

I just wonder though if maybe his huge Neanderthal type head and skull will help protect him. The guys head frame is massive, his skull has to be thick. Wonder if thats helped protect his brain at all.

Joyce is the one who needs to find a day gig. He's taken WAY too many shots to his head and been brutally KO'd.
Chisora...who really cares? He doesn't and apparently neither do his family and management.

Put a fork in Joyce he's done. Who would have thought that he'd never even end up challenging for a world title after the Dubois win?

I am and he should've retired a few years ago in order to reduce the chances of him developing CTE. However, he obviously has a thick cranium and if you look at someone like Chuvalo who is another teak-tough warrior with a think cranium and big noggin who ton of punishment and fought into his 40s, having almost 100 fights, and he was still remarkably lucid and sharp

    I think he's in his 70s here

That being said, sadly he has dementia now and lives in a care home but he's 86 y/o

I was concerned a few years ago but Chisora obviously doesn't care the harm he's doing to himself. Now it's a case of watching a human guinea pig science experiment. How fast does CTE kick in

It sounds harsh but if Chisora doesn't seem concerned about his own health why should anyone else be? He has earnt far more money than his talent has justified, and he could call it a day and be easily be set for life. I'm sure he knows the risks he is assuming by continuing to fight.

Bro we been talking about Chisora's brain injuries since like 2014 or some such similar. Bro's long gone or just lucky, either way time to care is over. He's made his bed at this point. Let the man enjony himself without saying ney.

I was saying prior to the fight he shouldn't even be sanctioned at this point.

Even with him winning, this should be it for him....................and I think Joyce should be reevaluating continuing as well.

Winning or losing is irrelevant as in regards to his health. He still took a lot of damage.

People in their 80s have a decent shot at dementia without boxing, but he most definitely is the exception to the CTE rule

For sure and yeah it could well be natural but even in his 70s he was remarkably lucid and unaffected by the decades of brain abuse he took given how much he took.
