Oleksandr Usyk wants $200m for Anthony Joshua trilogy fight, according to his promoter Alex Krassyuk. According to Krassyuk : “He’s a great champ and he’s changed a lot since the two fights with Usyk. We’ve seen him going down and seen him rising up. It’s also a complicated fight to make. I’ll tell you why, because now we are on different levels. In the first fight, Usyk was almost a no-name and Joshua was a massive star in the UK. After he beat him twice, Joshua still remains a massive star here no matter what. So this fight might be something that attracts the attention of the entire world. If we decide to earn money, then we can probably go for AJ for $200million,” Krassyuk said.
Usyk should just move down for Opetaia and 2x cruiserweight undisputed after Fury. aj is just another payday for Usyk which is good for him but he's getting older and we already saw it twice. Plus I always wanted to see how Opetaia would approach someone like Usyk
Good but AJ doesn't deserve a trilogy fight against Usyk. He didn't even deserve a rematch given Usyk was his MANDATORY challenger and Usyk whooped his ass in his backyard on a deck heavily stacked in AJ's favour in front of 67k rabid AJ fans whilst giving away enormous physical advantages and having been very inactive after only having fought twice in three years and only having fought one real fight in that time Had AJ just edged by Usyk in the UK and gone 1-0 against him Usyk would never have received a rematch, let alone a trilogy fight if he beat Usyk twice. There's isn't another reality, dimension or universe where AJ would ever have to face Usyk a third time after beating him twice Neither fight was remotely controversial other than one judge coming awfully close to robbing Usyk in the first fight and one judge actually doing so in the rematch. Disgusting! Usyk whooped AJ's ass and at best for AJ those fights were 3-9 and 4-8 respectively Imagine AJ were to face J-Park again and beat him again, in what world wold AJ have to face him a third time? J-Park has never received a rematch after losing to AJ in his backyard on a deck heavily stacked in AJ's favour and despite what the judges say that fight was more competitive than Usyk vs AJ I was and J-Park wasn't hurt or on the verge of getting stopped like AJ was against Usyk either Fat Andy is 1-1 against AJ, including bouncing him up and down of the canvas x 4 and stopping him, where was his chance to avenge his loss like AJ was given one? That rivalry is considered over, done and dusted, AJ is the better man despite them being 1-1. AJ get to roll the dice as many times as need be to achieve the desired result but his beaten opponents only ever get one roll. That's how ReMatchroom roll. GTFOH E-Hearn you snake and stop wearing your son's clobber too Not to mention AJ's disgraceful behaviour towards Usyk and his team in the ring after the rematch Flaxen-haired David Brent wannabe Boxercise Ben says he would ''love to right that wrong'' against Usyk. Er. Usyk is 2-0 against your boy and beating Usyk once doesn't right it and of course if he did it would get conveniently ignored that Usyk would be at least 38 y/o by then and he was already past his best before he beat AJ the first time J-Park is not only far more deserving of a shot at Usyk is than AJ he's far more deserving of a shot at AJ or Dubois if he wins than AJ is of one at Usyk Usyk only started to even begin to earn the kind of money his talent and accomplishments deserve after beating AJ and let's not forget that flabby shaved chimp Belly lowballed him with that highly insulting and unfair derisory 70-30 offer after his own promoter said the fight would be easy to make and that it would be a 50-50 split. But Usyk called his bluff and accepted the offer despite the fact he's the far more decorated and accomplished and talented fighter and he held three belts to Belly's one and he was also conceding massive physical advantages to him and agreed to fight him in his backyard on a deck heavily stacked against him where he would've been robbed Usyk deserves $500 M for facing AJ a third time
Yess But do you think it is possible? I rewatched Wallin vs AJ. AJ seems so much more technical than Dubois and may hit even harder
Wallin can't crack an egg, so AJ could afford to relax and perform. It would be far more impressive if he performs like that against Dubois. It's very reasonable to make AJ favourite but Dubois right now is better than AJ beat since .... a long time ago, at least.
Why would he move down to cruiserweight and earn $5M per fight, while he can earn around $50M per fight in heavyweight?
Yup, think it's Usyk's way of saying - hey that business is all wrapped up, beat him twice, clearly, I don't need to fight that fight - unless...
