Usyk is the man at Heavyweight now and previously at Cruiserweight without argument and even me being a Fury fan he has earned the right to throw out any numbers he wants to potential future opponents without question. Usyk has the Fury rematch next and should he win once more then I’d prefer him to retire as he would have proved beyond any doubt he is the man of this era, however money always talks and it’s understandable if he was to cover old ground and fight Joshua in a trilogy fight, like mentioned though already only the big money justifies this trilogy fight as Usyk won the previous two fights comfortably despite what the biased score cards portrayed .
As i said in the other thread i'm tired of rematches. Parker should get a shot at the winner of Usyk/Fury 2. Zhang should get a shot at the winner of Joshua/Dubois. Can we stop with these pointless rematches ? and get other top Heavyweight contenders fighting eachother and for world titles aswell ?
Usyk just politely told Joshua to kick rocks. There is no interest in a 3rd fight. Usyk clearly won both previous fights (the SD was a GIFT). After the Fury rematch there are only a few fights at HW that would interest me for Usyk: 1) Zhang 2) Parker 3) Kabayel
Usyk's manager is dreaming about this every night. He'd absolutely sell Usyk's belts to Hearn and AJ via robbery SD. Sounds like a slimy car salesman in that pitch.
There is literally no point in a third fight. Usyk proved both times he is levels above Joshua. Time to move on. There are other fights out there for Joshua mainly Wilder and Fury. Usyk likely knocks Joshua out this time.
Canelo has been fighting handpicked fights on his terms in his desired locations with his referee and judges. Usyk has been a road warrior his whole career. Not even close to being the same. When has Usyk ever received a 114-114 scorecard after being absolutely dominated?
Why not? Usyk already beat him twice and deserves some extra money if they're gonna try and drag him into a pointless rubber match.
That’s a dream fight that most likely won’t happen. Looks like Usyk might retire soon and just wants a huge lottery hit before he goes. Unfortunately, that’s something only AJ can provide at heavyweight right now.
Whatever you say, chief. “He’s the man now he can do what he wants!” But when it’s Canelo “cherry picker! Ducking this, ducking that!” I love Usyk and think he’s the goods, I also think this seems more like basically trying to price himself out of an AJ fight as others have said… My point is more about biased fans and their inconsistencies. Ie. You’re changing the subject from matchmaking to scorecards etc….. (which I of course agree with you on that, and think Adelaide Byrd should have never scored a fight again, but that’s not what we’re talking about here…)
Having watched this interview with Krassyuk, it was obvious that he was talking tongue in cheek and taking the **** about £200m. He probably knows full well that Usyk has no intention of ever having a third fight with AJ
