I'll say Congo vs. Ghadfa in the semis.

...now watch both get robbed. :shakehead:

Giving the 2nd round to Chaloyan was shocking. Feel for Orie terrible decision.

I thought Joshua Edwards should have been given the nod.

Many thought he outboxed Lenzi. Edwards also schooled Gerlon Congo last year who is currently still in the running. But it is what it is. Edwards should just go pro, I still think he can have plenty of success

Orie and Edwards to go pro now surely, both will have their pick of promoters courting them. By no means the most talented but for obvious reasons the most marketable.

    Clearly.

I thought the Italian won the first. But it seemed like Edwards won the second and the third and landed twice as many punches over the last two rounds.

Not sure how they score amateur boxing anymore, honestly.

    Oh well.

As pros, Edwards stops him. The Italian was gassed in the second round.

US/UK Olympians, naturally. They can easily spin "screwed out of a medal" as a cherry on top of their marketing.

    It's basically pro-style scoring now.

The match-up we're all salivating for, the Super Heavy quarterfinal between Jalolov and Teremoana, is noon EST on Friday.

I wouldn't miss that for the world . What do you think about some of the officiating? I reckon the French hired them from Las Vegas. They've robbed 3 Brits as Ive seen. Theyre just rotating between between refereeing & judging
