Jared Anderson vs Martin Bakole

TBF to Top Rank, their matchmaking is usually excellent, and their prospects come unstuck much less often than say Matchroom. Evidently they see Bakole as eminently beatable for Anderson at this stage in his career; however personally I don't see it. I feel Anderson will become negative as soon as he feels Bakole's power, leading to a decision or possibly a stoppage for Bakole.

 

I have Anderson winning on points. The stories about Bakole are out there, if I listened to all of it, he batters everyone in sparring, no one will fight him, but he is still the same guy I saw Hunter stop in the tenth round when they fought.

 

This is it, sparring stories and avoided man narratives ultimately don't mean much. However I like and rate Bakole despite the Hunter loss and will be rooting for him

 

I have no preference to who wins, I hope we get a really good fight and best man on the night wins.

 

Bakole also lost to plodder Kuzmin but got the nod on the cards (shock)

Not been impressed at all with the yank. Could be making a grave error here. Bakole stoppage

 

Depends I suppose if Bakole comes to win, or comes to spar, also his conditioning will be a factor.

Don't think Anderson is the next coming, but I'll go with him in a competitive points decision

 

Bakoles looks fat again from.what I've seen. His belly looks huge so I don't hold much hope he has taken this seriously

Definitely think Anderson points now, or potentially late stoppage if Bakole gasses out and lays on the ropes taking shots.

 

If he comes in close to 300lb again and it looks like he will be, then I think wooden Anderson can steal a decision. I don’t rate Anderson at all, but I think Bakole shouldn’t be at more than 280lb.

 

Anderson should've fought wilder, hergovic or Whyte. Bigger name but the same risk level. I just don't see him getting past Bakole
