Can you post any fight vids showing Liston displaying the same kind of raw aggression? In the Liston fights I've seen, he's more measured and methodical, while a prime Foreman would just storm out there and swing away from the first moment.

Agreed. As bad a match up as Liston is, he leaves the door ajar as he sizes up his adversary. Foreman left no such room & just went recklessly hell for leather. The result was many more missed punches than Liston would produce, but also a more rapid accumulation of damage.

 

I think Foreman and Tyson would always be worse match ups. Both had ATG KO power and started fast and Tyson was very accurate and fast punching. Foremans accuracy was underrated.

Liston was more measured and didn't tend to go all out for the kill. The longer the fight goes on, the better Frazier would have to win. Liston would leave a small window open that Tyson and Foreman wouldn't leave open. That said, I think Liston stops Frazier mid rounds. It would look like Foreman/Frazier 2.

 

Tyson would be the worst.

Actually it’d be Foreman as proved in real life but I forgot we have an agenda against him so we’re gonna give him as little credit as possible.

 

I fell like Foreman, who fought him, is the worst matchup for him, because he had better uppercuts, which were what Frazier was most vulnerable to, Foreman would throw a couple of straights/hooks to get Frazier weaving, and he’d mix in them uppercuts to time Frazier when he’d weave, I agree Liston is a bad style matchup for Frazier and would take him out, but Foreman with those uppercuts is a bit worse.

 

Frazier proved that he could cause Foreman problems in the rematch but he was too far past it to win. Also: Qawi.
