Tables have turned here. Usually Crawford is the more physically strong and dominant fighter in the ring. He won't be against Madrimov. I still think Crawford's class will show and he outboxes Madrimov. But things could get interesting if Madrimov starts to physically impose himself on Crawford.
Crawford was a high school wrestler and is very physically strong but Madrimov did gymnastics as a child as well as numerous other sports and is the more athletic of the two. He also wrestles himself. Like I keep saying, if Crawford was actually moving up and facing someone much bigger than him, which he has just not been doing as he has ascended through the weights, I would give Madrimov a much better chance of beating him. Thing is from the extensive scientific I have conducted I don't think Madrimov is bigger at all and Crawford might be the heavier man in there in addition to the huge advantages he has over him in experience, quality of opposition and reach and of course home advantage with home officials too
Dunno about that, Crawford is pretty damn strong. I saw a video of him deadlifting 495 for a few reps which is impressive for a 147-154 pounder. He also came from a wrestling background and those guys are strong as hell.
Golovkin wasn't the bigger man in there on the scales vs Kell Brook but he was far more acclimated to the weight. Even if Madrimov isn't bigger than Crawford he's bigger than the people he's been fighting with the exception of the weight drained Spence. I still favour Crawford with his big edge in experience, faster footwork and higher work rate but Madrimov has brilliant technique and may very well cause Crawford some big problems. Can't completely write him off.
Madrimov is small for super welterweight, he's neither bigger nor stronger than Crawford. Crawford has a reach advantage and is slightly taller. I think Madrimov has ZERO chance of winning. Crawford has much more experience. He'll have home advantage, so the officials will be on his side, as we've seen so many times when Central Asian and East European boxers fight against Americans in the USA. This content is protected

Tonight the ridiculous Madrimov hype will end. I think he was hyped to sell tickets and PPVs, but it doesn't matter.
Being strong ? I don't think that will be needed on the fight night. Skills and IQ will be the most important thing.
