Haye from Chisora fight vs Usyk

Oh my bad I misread I apologise.

 

No version of Haye beats any version of Usyk, ever.

 

Or peak Usyk vs peak Haye at cruiser.

 

And if you felt his speed was just OK, I'm curious who and how many you put over him? As for his heavyweight campaign, seems Ike his body just broke down on him, **** happens. Being an average sized guy in the reign of a great super heavyweight didn't help either. But in a vacuum I feel he'd be a great matchup for Usyk.

 

At this point I think I ought to note that Usyk's victory over Fury is better than Haye's entire career.

In fact, either of his victories over Joshua is probably better than Haye's entire career.

And Usyk never lost to a LHW, nor was he knocked down by a super middle. In fact, no one ever beat or knocked down Usyk at all.

Really, this thread is a bit ridiculous. I respect Haye, but there are levels of excellence, and Usyk in on a separate plane of existence.

 

Reason Chisora was even competitive is that Usyk isn't a huge hitter at HW.

That's also why he was a nuisance to 'Dr Iron Fist'.

If you can't KO Chisora, he just keeps coming.

Chisora tried his same stuff with Haye and got flattened because he walked into some bombs. Same would likely happen with Wilder, Wlad, AJ, Povetkin, Zhang, anyone with a big punch who can land it.

Point is, I think the matchup favoured Haye because Chisora is predictable and walks into punches and Haye was specialised to counterpunch people with big bombs.

But Usyk is not going to plod forward and walk into Haye's bombs. He's going to pick him apart and when Haye tires, Usyk will put the pressure on and KO him cold.

Usyk has shown he can take good HW power and also that he can hurt much bigger and sturdier guys. Let's remember that Haye was stopped down at cruiser by basically a LHW.

Haye always has his PED-puncher's chance. But he's not good enough to beat Uysk most likely.

 

Whoever thinks Chisora won that needs to log off the internet forever.

 

Haye beat the biggest guy, between the two of them, so, I think he ought to be favoured.

 

He does have power at any weight. Look at the 9th against Fury, the 12th against Joshua...or the seventh against Chisora himself.

Usyk is an economical boxer who does not leave much on the table for his opponents. He has power, but he only commits to it when he has them already beaten. Or, in the one, singular case against Fury, when he had to change the course of things.

That is the difference between a fighter like Haye and a fighter like Usyk. Usyk never shows the cards, and always has a plan B, C, D, E...

The reason Usyk only outlanded Chisora in 9 rounds and only staggered him in the seventh is a combination of coming off covid and being bored out of his mind. Go to about 5:54, and watch Chisora back up when Usyk adds just the smallest amount of gas...

I think the reference was more to Usyk taking out Bellew than Bellew taking out Haye! IMO Haye knew he was done and him and Bellew fleeced the public with those two sham fights. Bellew get's sparked by prime Haye IMO.

But Usyk shuts Haye out - as others have noted, his style is bad for Haye who needs time to set for his power punches - I don't see Haye being able to time Usyk as he would be too busy trying to think defense

 

Haye would not even get in the ring with Fury,highly unlikely he would even consider getting in the ring with Usyk either .

 

Not only to mention the huge size, but very probably the most prettiest huge guy.
